Because of the big bad COVID my husband and I have made it a habit to not go into a grocery store. We were thrilled when Brookshires started Curbside pickups. Staff has been very accommodating and efficient getting our groceries as ordered. Our orders have always been exactly what we ordered and always available on time. I had always told my husband that if I ever won the lottery I would hire my own personal grocery shopper because I HATE going to the grocery store. Well now I don't have to, because Brookshires does it all. Thank you for keeping me healthy AND sane.

For one, this store is too expensive! You don’t get anything for your money! The biggest issue is all the rude employees! I’ve lived in this town for 3 years & every time I go to this store, every employee is rude! No one there is educated. No one knows how to do WIC or how to take an item off. They all get attitudes, because they don’t know how to do anything. I’ve never met such rude people in my life! They need to learn some respect!

If this is employee owned, isn't it supposed to be better? I get very good service although the prices reflect for a more obscure location. Not sure I'd want to live in the neighborhood if the cashier lives here. I wish I had gotten her name but she would not be hard to miss. Her negativity is loudly evident especially when she's talking. You probably know her already. If she's an employee/owner, I would like to buy her out and replace her with a kinder more personable one. Maybe there's a position like butcher where she can take her frustrations out of being forced to work there for some reason. Kudos to her associates for being so tolerant but I'll drive to Kroger with no problem to avoid this Brookshire Brother (which is unlike the better Brookshires I'm familiar with) If you order online at Kroger, they even bring it to your car. Worth the trip from Whitesboro Actually, if you are in a hurry. The Dollar General across the way has most everything you might need including milk and eggs at a better price. And the employees are a lot more friendly. Some of them actually like their jobs. I appreciate that.

This is a wonderful small town grocer. The produce selection is amazing for a store of this size! The displays give the store a warm, homey feel that is really inviting.

The store is clean and neatly arranged. Unfortunately, employees are too busy gossiping to pay any attention to you. If you don't have a reward card don't expect anyone to help you sign up. I would rather drive to scivallys and get treated like a valued customer or just go to Walmart where at least it cost less to be ignored.
