The pizza is good, if not memorable, but I just had a stromboli that was probably in the top 5 tastiest things I've ever sampled from a pizza restaurant. The person who prepared it (a middle-aged Hispanic woman) absolutely nailed it. The cheese was gooey but not runny. The crust was buttery and flaky without crumbling apart. The toppings were appropriately portioned and distributed evenly, preventing the stromboli from becoming a massive, soupy, greasy pocket of lava. It tastes amazing and looks even better. Pizza is my favorite food and I've eaten it everywhere from LA to NY to Chicago. And THIS stromboli is one of the best out there. Incredible

They got the best pizza in the whole town and their service is amazing. People are friendly and the area is clean. I love to go there for food, drinks, snacks, and for the people that always treat you like family.

Obviously gas station jobs are not careers unless it's like a respectable company like QT. This place hear likes to take advantage of young employees like high school kids. The owners Sanjay and Rai like to tell young employees that they don't get paid if they don't make 15 pizzas a day, even though they are hourly. Time cards mysteriously disappear and they pay them whatever benefits their business. If you work there please get your hours signed off daily or snap shot it. Sanjay and Rai like to play d*** and will pay you whatever they want. Whitney is such a great small town to be letting these kind of employers take advantage of you or your family. I personally don't purchase anything from small businesses like Jake's that are not American owned. Spread this message if you live in Whitney. Small towns can't grow or improve with places like this one taking advantage of of you or loved ones.
