We had only used this vet originally for our cat, our dog became unwell on a Sunday, we called first thing Monday morning and they got her an emergency visit and we were able to get her out of pain, do some X-rays and get her a treatment plan going.

I can’t express enough how amazing Caring Heart is. Even though it was our initial visit to this clinic, we were welcomed like lifelong patrons. Our 16-year-old Shih Tzu was cared for with abundant love, and my husband and I were also shown such warmth and compassion, which was truly uplifting for us at that time.

After calling multiple vets in wichita that told me they do not see birds i was told to contact this vet. I called to ask if a specific bird seed was safe to feed my new pet bird, and was told i would need to make an appointment to have the question answered. I would completely understand this if there was a problem with the bird, but it truly was a yes or no answer. I ended up calling another veterinary hospital in dallas and they were so helpful and kind enough to even send me a very informative email about a proper diet for the bird. I really am not the type of person to leave reviews or complaints but i felt like i should share my experience as i was unable to find another hospital in wichita that can help with birds. It is sad that you felt the need to make profit from a simple yes or no question!

This review should have happened right after my experience but I was a college student who was distraught over losing my best friend to this place. I took my 5 year old yorkie in to be spayed and they killed her during the procedure. She was completely healthy when I dropped her off and I picked her up dead in a box. The staff made me walk out of the back door because they didn’t want the other customers to see me crying or carrying the box with her in it. I was told she may have had an allergic reaction to the anesthesia. Not only did they make me walk out the back but the price of the procedure was raised due to them trying to revive my girl. It has been several years since this happened— today I took my catahoula in to be spayed at a different facility and everything ran smoothly. I have such anxiety about having our dogs fixed that after all went well I wanted to see how this clinic was doing years later. As I was reading the reviews I noticed many other negative reviews and couldn’t believe I never posted my experience. I agree with another poster of “a caring heart” being a terrible name for this clinic. Even years later I remember the lack of compassion and accountability this clinic demonstrated.
I hope my review helps someone else.. if you have another option, which you do, take your babies somewhere else. I will never forget my experience with this clinic and pray no one else loses their fur baby here.

I had used a different vet for several years, my dog had a bad skin condition that was diagnosed as allergies, told me to give him a bath and Benadryl, but it wouldn’t clear up, I finally decided to switch vets and went to Caring Heart, they did a wellness check on my dog and said he has ringworms, he’s taking antibiotics and looking better, I’m so glad I found them.

I am still in shock, having to put down our Dane but we wanted to Thank All the staff at A Caring Heart. They were so compassionate and so professional on how they handled every aspect of caring for our Luna. Truly an honest and sincere doctor in charge and very knowledgeable nurses staff as well. Thank you all again from the bottom of our hearts.

I’m genuinely disgusted. Just called needing help for my 8 month old puppy who found a hidden bag of homemade trail mix and ate the ENTIRE bag. She was fine for about 5 hours and then started violently throwing up, having diarrhea, drinking water like she hasn’t had it in days, and whining like no other. We are VERY concerned. Called the number I found for after hours where the guy proceeded to tell me that since I wasn’t an established client (we are here for my husbands training. He’s in the military and I’m prior so we live in a completely different state) there was nothing they could do for us after hours. I then asked if they knew of anywhere that would be able to help us and all they said was “No”. That’s it. A simple “no”. These people clearly do not care about animals. I’m genuinely disgusted.

I have always had a good experience going here. My English Bulldog, Frankie, loves everyone here and runs to the door when I ask him if he wants to go to the vet. The problem is that he doesn't want to leave because he gets so much love and attention....

I cannot say enough positive things about this veterinary hospital! They provided exceptional care for our dog during a recent surgery. The staff kept us informed every step of the way, showing genuine kindness and understanding. Our sweet puppy received top-notch treatment by Dr Wade and Nurse Brittany, and we couldn't be more grateful. I highly recommend this professional and intelligent team to anyone in need of veterinary services. The entire staff has been an absolute pleasure to work with!

Dr Wade and the two vet tech were wonderful to my dog there for the first time. They took great care of her and provided expert recommendations to me. My dog seemed to love them so much. I highly recommend them for your pet needs.
The only negative I have was the bit of a long wait time in the lobby prior to visiting Dr Wade. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Our family loves A Caring Heart Vet and are so thankful we found them after moving to the area. Their care for our pets is always wonderful and the staff is incredible and kind. Our pup especially loves her special cheesy treat every visit:)
