I’m a frequent rental car consumer for Avis. I’ve left a bad review once for a life threatening situation but I’ve also given them 5 stars when deserved. This time around was fantastic- as usually it is.

We reserved a car online and prepaid for it. When we got to the counter, it was not available and no other car was available. Because the time had arrived for pickup, we were not able to get a refund online. We called customer service who said they would issue a refund, but they never did after 2 weeks. Had to dispute charge on credit card.

First vehicle we were provided was unsafe to drive due to damage to the front tire. Second vehicle was a downgrade and was filthy. Water bottles, trash and water damage inside of vehicle. ALSO THE VEHICLE REGISTRATION EXPIRED IN JUNE AND IT IS SEPTEMBER! The representative sat in the break area behind the counter to see if I needed help when I came to pick the vehicle up. Did NOT do ANY TYPE of walk around on either vehicles. Never left his desk and really didn't seem to want to be there AT ALL. I have been on hold for AVIS customer service now for over minutes when the prompt said a 1-3 minute wait. I have photos but unable to upload at this time. WE WILL NEVER USE AVIS AGAIN and will leave appropriate feedback.

I called this location for a 4 day rental. I was quoted 300 dollars and then I told them I was military and asked how much it would be with military discount. He said he already applied the discount. I asked I never told you I was in military why he already applied the discount if he didn’t know. The member I spoke with them hung up on me and wouldn’t accept my phone call. I waited a short amount of time and called again to no avail. Is it how Avis really treats members of the service . I ended up calling Avis rental located on Lawrence road and ended up getting cheaper price and great customer service. Stay away from this place…

Not pleased at all. The Vehicle was filthy inside and out, and it had a nail in the back tire. The check engine light keeps coming on and off, and the fluids fluids were low.

This company is terrible. Do not rent from Avis Wichita Falls Tx. I reserved a car and when I was dropped off at the Walmart/Avis location the person wasn’t even in the office for about 30min and when he arrived he was the most unhelpful person. On top of all of that he told me there were no vehicles available even though I had one reserved. The worst experience.

The associate that issued my vehicle was rude and gave no instruction on how to return the vehicle. The associate also did not give me paperwork to mark any discrepancies with the vehicle and the vehicle smelled like awful cigarette smoke. I do not plan to be using avis service again after this.

Rented a FULL size got some small Kia suv that have only a bar to adjust the seat. It was the cheapest piece of *$&$&&$*#! Like riding on a board. Outrageous to call and charge that as a FULL size!
