This park was built right before I moved out of Wichita 12 years ago... here it is 12 years later and literally nothing has changed and seems to be much worse. I figured at least a new slide or 2 would've been added, some kind of expansion, something... instead, get alternating slides open when there only like 5 slides as it is, smh

We booked the party pack + rented a Cabana. When we got there the guy taking tickets was pretty rude and not much of assistance on where I needed to go. Well after getting it figured out the host was a little confused and seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. Sweet girl, but even when I asked her about the attractions going on at the park she had no idea or about our unlimited drinks she had no clue... the pizza and ice cream cake were very good the kids enjoyed it.When we went to get their pucker punch thing we gave the coupon for redemption and she tried charging us $1.50 each..uhh no. That should've been included in our package, the guest service girl was clueless. My children had fun at the buccaneer bay and lazy river, and someone child pooped in the pool so we lost over an hour of swim time for our children after paying the price we did to enjoy the waterpark. Other than that the 3 employees really just kind of unknowingly of what's going on we had a good time, but for over $324 party pack I would expect more from the employees to know their job descriptions.

We got the season passes, which meant we averaged about $10 per person per visit. At that price, I'd say it's worth it. Our kids are small, so we stay in the middle area and the lazy river, and that works. I like the setup. The only major problem is that every 10-15 minutes, a huge horn blares, and a huge bucket of water dumps out over the side. The bucket of water is cool, my daughter loves it, the huge horn blast - not so much. My son is four and autistic and this keeps him on the edge constantly. He wants so badly to go out and play with the other kids, but it seems like every time he regulates and ventures back out, it blares again, sending him running back for me. I know it bothers other people, too. It would be nice if they could come up with a better system that's more friendly to neurodivergent kids and adults.

I purchased 3 passes for one day. The lazy River was the best part of the park. They only had 2 of the 5 slides open at a time. Only 4 of the 5 were operating for the day with all slides closed for 15 min increments while switching between the 4. The wave pool was small and not very wavy. We went to purchase swim shoes, due to concrete and stairs being so hot, at the merchandise shop which was pretty empty so were unable to. We ended up spending $125 total for an hour and a half. Not worth the money. Should have just gone a little further to bigger park for the same money.

We enjoyed the few fun waterslides, the lazy river and the waves but it is ABSOLUTELY the WORST venue to celebrate a 10th birthday. My granddaughter blew out her 10 candles but not one child or adult were able to have their slice of cake. My daughter paid extra for my granddaughter's birthday celebration, which cost her 300 bucks!!!! They closed at 6 but we got at our table in time to celebrate. They just brought out the cake but just as soon as the clock turned to 6, they immediately forced us out!!!!!! There were other water parks that allow their guests to stay just that extra few minutes (with no presents) just for their birthday cake but DEFINITELY NOT this one. This is unacceptable.Everyone in our small party, but especially my granddaughter, are extremely disappointed. The lifeguards are extremely rude and the supervisor is the person who told us we had to leave immediately. She even went to such extremes when she stated, If you don't leave, we will have to trash all your stuff. She further stated, "We will have to pay our security guards if you stay longer."

Bad experience. I came on a weekday and waited 45 minutes for the slides to open and they still weren’t so I called they told me that they would open at 12. They didn’t open at 12 so I called again and they said 1 but they would be alternating hours. So not only did they wait 2 hours after opening to open the slides but when they opened the slides they would only be open for one hour open and one hour closed. Which means waiting in long lines because you only have an hour to try and get through all the slides which is nearly impossible due to everyone trying to go in the 1 hour span they give us. If you are willing to wait the 2 hours before they open then the hours in between there is barely anything else to do but just swim in between slide times. Went to get a refund and customer service was terrible when asked for a refund. Will not be going again.

The floor of the pool scrapes and tears up your feet to the point they bleed. All the lifeguards are kids, so they allow their friends to act like idiots. Used to be so fun, now it's just not worth the money

Castaway cove is an awesome place for those looking for full price admission with half the experience.Rude staff, with a high dose of teenage angst."Short staff" couldn't open all the rides.... As I watched 7 employees play a good ol' fashion game of grab a$$ under the shaded tent.45minute chicken strips. They were hot and crispy, but anyone with hands and a concept of time could double that speed. No food allowed inside. No problem at all since this was noted as such. But our party had to take extra time to get a staff member to unlock their "picnic area". More like outdoor time at the local state penitentiary. The barbwire was ascetically pleasing. Covid was 3 years ago. Public patience for shortage of goods and services are falling by the wayside.I have no issue with being kind and patient with circumstances that are uncontrollable. At some point that wears thin, and the consumers are left with a cheap version at inflated prices. My daughter enjoyed her birthday, which bumps this single star experience to a 2. I hope for the sake of others things improve.

We had fun, despite the park showing some signs of wear. We rented a cabana for the day, and it makes the experience better. Whatever you do, unless you have feet hardened by the country, wear water shoes. The rough surfaces in the pools and the death hot walking surfaces caused burns and scrapes that made it difficult until we bought shoes at the little shop. We had fun, we will go again when we are in town. We have been to many water parks and this does have a great kids area. The giant bucket used to tip and splash the kids below, but seems to no longer work. But, two teenagers, a six year old and four adults had a nice day. It was well staffed the day we were there with a sufficient number of lifeguards.

Don't get me wrong, this place is a great place to come out and relax and season passes have been a great investment for my family and I. We go and leave as we please and never have to feel disappointed if the park is packed or if there is bad weather we can always come back. My kids love it, the slides are fun, and over all its relaxing. However, due to lack of staff and terrible turnover rate, not all rides are ever open. A lot of tubes are flat, life jackets are limited and destroyed, forcing you to have to rent tubes. Also is the pirates plunge just going to permanently be shut down all year? It hasn't been open once for 2023. It's not bad, but not great either. It's pointless just buying a day pass, it's too expensive for what you get.

We had a great time! We went from 11 to 3, there was just a handful of people & no waiting at the big slides. By 2pm it was getting very busy & when we left it was packed.Price for entry: $22.00

I love everything about this place. If you live in wichita falls tx, then this is probably the most best place you could probably be for entertainment. But, after you finish swimming and go home your feet hurt and maybe tan or reddish but you can't blame it on the waterpark. The concrete obviously hurts, but the pool scratches you up. I do understand that you mostly cant fix that but you could make it smoother. I love the wave pool, especially when you can feel the illusion of the waves when your at home and sleeping, but that may just be me.

Don't waste your time or money. Too many deficiencies to list.No need to address the management either. They were zero help and had no intentions of doing so.Atleast I was refunded my money..the only positive during our experience. After we left ,we drove 10mins north to Boomtown Bay and had a great time for a fraction of the price.

Was fun for the kids but seems to always have a group of kids acting donkeys, assuming parents drop them off and 3

If I could give them 0 stars I would. They won’t let you bring water bottles in, but want to charge you to fill up your water bottle. Hope no one gets heat stroke and sues them. Terrible management.
