Davenport Grocery is a great little part of Wichita Falls history and a neighborhood gem. The people are amazing and very friendly, providing excellent service. The food is fresh and delicious, featuring the best cold cut sandwich, hot link wrap around sandwiches, and hot link sandwiches. The food truck offers a nice variety of to-go lunches like chicken baskets, catfish baskets, burgers, pork chop plates, and gumbo. The fried chicken is very good, and the zig zag cut fries are crunchy and fluffy. Prices are very reasonable. It is a friendly place where customers feel like part of the family.
They have been around since 1929 I think. Friendly staff and never forget to get their famous hot links. 😀

I was a young kid when I had my first hot link, it was at Davenport’s. Had to go back and check it out. Most affordable place to grab lunch in town and the food truck opens back up on Monday. I’ll be back. Gotta support Small Local Businesses like this!

This place has been there for years and the people always have a good attitude and I will continue to go there for some hotlinks they make them just right
