I was a loyal customer with this bank for over 4 years. Every dollar I earned went through them—including the money I used to pay off my semi-truck. I trusted them with my livelihood and future, and when I needed support the most, they failed me.
I applied for credit and did everything they asked—submitted all my financial documents, trucking info, everything they requested. I even offered my paid-off truck as collateral, and they told me that wouldn’t be a problem.
Then they made me wait three full weeks—with no clear updates—only to deny me in the end. That delay cost me valuable time and opportunities. I’m a business owner trying to take care of my family and move forward, and they made that even harder.
What really stings is that I wasn't just any customer. I was with them for years, ran all my money through them, and paid off a truck under their watch. And when it counted, they didn't show up for me.
This isn’t bitterness—it’s the truth. If you're considering banking here, especially as a business owner or trucker, think twice. Loyalty doesn’t seem to mean anything to them.

Visited while in this area and tried to change $10 for a roll of quarters. Nona, the teller, declined to help me and referred me to a competing bank that was actually closed down. Avoid.

The financial institution is unstable. About 4 years ago, in 2016, this bank was a great choice for consumer lending. I was a college sophomore, with a part time job and I was approved, for a auto loan with a principal of about $9,800, while Kari Shaw was the Vice President. My payments were very reasonable, and I paid this loan off early, without any late payments. Therefore, due to the good experience I had, with their lending, I became a repeat customer, by opening another auto loan in 2017. My income level still had not changed, as I was working part-time still, and this loan was paid off in 2018, with 88% of the payments on time. However, the lending standards became much more strict, and reliant upon scores, after this institution, experienced personnel loss. Once Kari resigned, from the company, Wayne Pharries took her spot, and he is a great guy, as well, who approved me for a small personal loan, in 2018. Keep in mind that my income levels still were unchanged, due to working part-time jobs. I did have a few late payments, for this loan, but still managed 88% of the payments, on time, from April 2019, until April 2020. The financial institution now has a new consumer lending officer, named Jim Goins, whom my first encounter with was yesterday. First off, I spoke with him, the day before, however he pushed me off until the next day, so that he could leave early. These were his exact words, when I spoke to him yesterday, and he reiterated it again, in our phonecall today. I inquired, for an amount much smaller than any of my previous loans, with the institution, however I was denied, due to the few late payments, referred to earlier. In the decision, he decided to overlook or ignore other positive factors, such as, the fact that I now make 2x as much per year. Other factors that were overlooked are I recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree, and that I have 3 successful loans, with the institution that never went into default. Not to mention the fact that, the amount I applied for was smaller than any amount previously extended to me. Jim claimed they normally, don't approve loans, for the amount, that I requested and he stated that my previous small loan, with them, may have been an exception. The financial institution no longer makes decisions based upon facts, but rather upon personal discretion and subjectivity. Maybe if I dealt with Jim, face to face, as my previous loan encounters were, then I would've been approved. It is too simple, to decline someone, via phone, who now lives in the metroplex, and whom you've never encountered nor seen. Regulatory Agencies will be assessing this decision made, along with comparing them, to the previous approvals, given by other individuals.
