I had my windshield replaced here. They did a very good job. Before I got my windshield replaced. There was something on the windshield. I went to a local carwash. And I used the brush there. Thinking it would make it clean. It didn't work. Now since I got it replace. I can see clearly out of my windshield.

I am extremely happy with the service of replacing my windshield. They provided professional service that was done in a timely manner. The staff was friendly as well.
I appreciate that they were understanding about us having to wait there for it to be done. It is our only vehicle and we live a distance away. So, we were unable to drop off.
I highly recommend.

Not impressed. Went by numerous fb reviews. 2010 Camaro SS.
Pros:
Called for quote and while it was about $20 cheaper than Safelite without insurance. Skipped out because of the convenience of Safelite being able to come to me vs. finding a ride to drop off and pick up the vehicle. They called me back the next day with an even lower quote, now $30 cheaper than Safelite. Ended up making an appointment, 1. to support local and 2. the now $30 difference would help cover the tinted brow I have to replace.
Cons:
1st the top of the windshield does not sit correctly. It protrudes more on the drivers side vs. the passenger side. The gasket has some issues in spots as well. Definitely can tell the windshield has been replaced.
2nd it actually was only $20 cheaper as they added in almost $10 for using a debit card. Which is fine if I was informed of this other than the tiny post they have on the wall that I did not notice until my card has already been processed.
My gripe is we spoke on the phone 3x and it was never mentioned that there would be an upcharge for using a debit card. Not only did we speak 3x regarding the quote and scheduling, Nothing was said when I dropped the car off or left on the voicemail that the car was ready. Nothing was said even prior to processing my card and charged. I did not even see their small photo framed sign until she already charged my card.
I also cannot find it on their website as well.
Most probably don't even notice the extra charge because they do not mention it when your paying. I've been in customer service for almost 30 years and this is just poor customer service and the upcharge for debit should have been mentioned when the original quote was given. They had several opportunities to let me know they charged a card processing fee but did not.
But they actually got the price they gave in the original quote. By not letting you know before hand, your already there to pay and are most likely going to pay the fee vs. coming back with cash. Deceitful in my book.
Will not be a returning customer and will use Safelite or another shop in the future.

After surviving Texas highways for seven years without one windshield break. I managed to break 2 in 3 months.
The first vehicle was a 2009 Nissan Pathfinder, and it admittedly did not go smoothly, requiring 2 return trips before it was all said and done.
So when I broke my second windshield on my 2013 Lincoln MKZ I had no plans to go back, until Safelite wanted to charge an extra $450 to recalibrate my car for the automatic cruise control, lane assist, automatic wipers ect. Which was something I could do on my own and requires nothing but putting the car in calibration mode and driving it.
After almost having an aneurysm I decided to give Hawkins another shot. I'm glad I did, everything went smooth this time around and thanks to forscan was able to complete the calibration on my own time.
The staff was always polite and courteous even when we were struggling with the first car. So now after this second experience I'll take that one as a fluke and will go back if needed.

They replaced our windshield next day for 25% less than I was quoted elsewhere from a well known national outfit. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing experience. Late yesterday afternoon, I saw that my rear window was shattered. I went over to Hawkins, dropped my truck off, and had that window and two others replaced within 24 hours for about the cost that SafeLite would have charged for the one. The customer service was incredible, and I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else for any auto glass work I need from now on.
