About Hotter'N Hell Hundred
The Hotter'N Hell Hundred is an annual endurance cycling event held in Wichita Falls, Texas. Established in 1982, it is a non-profit organization offering a challenging 100-mile ride in scorching summer heat, and has grown to include a full weekend of endurance events. Reviews consistently praise it as an amazing, excellent, and awesome bicycle ride. Participants describe it as a very fun and exciting event, and one of the best experiences, though also exhausting. The organization, involving the city, volunteers, and airforce, is noted as extremely organized, friendly, and prepared. The route is great, the rest stops are fabulous with extremely helpful volunteers and ample ice, and the mechanical assistance is wonderful. Some criticisms note that hotels become super expensive during the event, suggesting camping as an alternative, and that the trade show and rider pin can be disappointing. Riders emphasize that training and bringing your own food is a must, as rest stops primarily offer snack food. Despite some cost concerns, it remains a highly recommended endurance ride.

We are part of the steering committee, so we are involved with a lot of the things going on here. Come out on the last weekend of every August and see what it's all about when you ride a bike 1 hundred miles in 100⁰+ heat. Toooo much fun.

I have done this 3 times. Always a very fun and exciting event! You must train and prepare for months. Make sure you bring food (sandwiches) as the stops only have snack food. THIS IS A MUST TO BRING FOOD!!!
