Was not busy for a Saturday morning. Cashier was friendly, and the store was tidy.

I have recently made complaints to the manager multiple times about candies that then recalled and they seem to not care about the children in the community or anyone's health and well-beingWhen I tell y'all are is candy that has been recalled your answer should not be for we don't know anything about that you should do your information and your knowledge and actually keep up with the mandates that are being recalled with your products

The staff is reason for the 2nd star. This place is usually dirty & the prices are higher than the should be. But it's in a prime location for the area, so I doubt they care about anything other than making money.

I won't even give it a star after a clerk threatened me. But I guess I had to to be able to post this. Never, EVER go here! I have routinely gone to this Stripes location for almost a year now. Tonight I took inns lottery ticket to be cashed, left when clerk was rude never redeeming the ticket since Katie marked the ticket as paid I came back to redeem it. Then she refused to scan and redeem the $25 for me and ended by threatening me, stating, "you think I'm rude?'oh you ain't seen the half of it yet!". I'm going to try to talk to the mgr. if the new clerk will call her. If not I have to call in he morning or come by I live 59 miles away. Katie said, "I'm off the clock and I ain't cashin s**** I ain't back til Monday so good luck!". Why you would employ people like this I have no idea! Full story: I went to cash in a scratch off ticket and when I had a question about it, I asked the cashier to look at what I was questioning and asked her if she had read what I had read. She rudely snapped, "yes, I can read!". I asked her if it were possible that the machine may have sinned wrong so she called her manager. The ticket was worth $25. She had scanned it and ripped it in half. I was so annoyed with her outrageous and embarrassing behavior that I asked for the ticket back. She threw the pieces across the counter at me. I then asked for tape, she said, "now you can take it up with the Texas lottery commission." I left the store and tried to cash it at a place where rudeness isn't the norm. They told me that it shows hat the ticket has already been redeemed. So when I went back to the store, the cashier, Katy, was still there and do was the new clerk on shift. I asked him to cash it. He scanned it and said, "it says it was redeemed already," I told him that the other clerk had scanned it and I requested it back without payment. Katie confirmed this so the clerk said she would have to pay me then. I asked her if she would scan it for me and pay me then. She replied, "I'm off shift now so you'll have to wait!" I told her that she did not have to be so rude. She tried to interject while I was talking with the other clerk asking when the manager would be in. Katie then threatened me stating, "you think I'm rude?'oh you ain't seen the half of it yet!". I would hope that the manager will resolve the issue for me. If not, I have $25 ticket never cashed and worthless. Maybe I will contact the tx lottery commission and report them for fraud entering it as paid and not returned without payment.
