The sales person behind the counter demanded I provide ID and date of birth to buy a BIC lighter. I care more about my fourth in amendment right to protect my information than I do about your stupid corporate policy. I would not shop at Dollar General again if my life depended on it.

I’ve been to so many dollar stores where the employees are indifferent or even rude. Every time I come here everyone says hello, the store is clean and stocked, and someone is working the register. The young man, Troy, has worked the register the last few times I’ve shopped here. He is very kind and pleasant. He does a great job with customer service.
