Incredible experience! I booked a two-night staycation very last minute. Their team was very responsive to my questions while booking and they were extremely accommodating. The cabin was ultra clean with the temperature perfectly set upon arrival. With the beautiful water views it was nice to relax in the adirondack chairs. Literally steps from the very walkable Wimberly Square, I was able to explore all the shops and restaurants with ease. Meeting the owners of this establishment was probably the best part of the stay. Learning their history and vision for the place really showed me why this place is magical. I will 100% coming back for more staycations. Highly recommend!

We recently stayed for 4 days with a large family group of 17 traveling from Boston, and we could not recommend this home more highly! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted, and the attention to detail was exceptional. The home was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and fully stocked with everything we could need. The layout was perfect for a big group, and the location was ideal. Every element was thoughtfully prepared to make our stay seamless and enjoyable. Truly a five-star experience!

Walkable for sure, but town doesn’t have a real late night scene. Really nice around sunset - 9:30pm. Good for a short weekend

I recently visited Wimberly from Boston, MA for a friend’s graduation and stayed at the Cabins on the Square. I specifically stayed at “The House” but other family stayed in the single rooms on the same property and the suites next door. The Cabins on the Square exceeded my expectations. They were so clean, accommodating and beautifully decorated. The cabins are located right in the square where there are plenty of places to shop and dine, no need to drive! Last, it is clear the owners take pride in their property. It is extremely well-kept and thought out. 11/10 would recommend!

We're a group of seven women who travel together all around Texas. We had SO MUCH FUN in Wimberly and Cabins on the Square was a great spot. We rented the whole property and used the Main House for meals, crafts, and hanging out.
* The multiple gathering spots outdoors were fabulous. We spent a lot of time just chatting around the fire pit and in the chairs overlooking the water.
* The beds, linens and towels were TOP NOTCH!
* The motion-triggered lights on the stairway to the loft are a thoughtful safety feature.
* The all-in-one oven was a great substitute for a full oven. We didn’t need the warmer or fry-pan, but together those appliances were sufficient for any kind of vacation cooking
* So many thoughtful touches -- small fans for background noise, plenty of kitchen towels in the main house, lots of tourism-related magazines and materials, ample dishes
And, the place is right on the square, with all the shops, eateries and drink spots within an easy walk.
Definitely recommend!

Stayed in cabin #2 for 4th of July. Had a blast, location was perfect right on the square next to everything. 2 queen size beds, both very comfortable with luxury bedding and pillows. A/C was very cold even with 100+ degree weather. Bathroom had all the amenities one would need and the place was noticeably clean. Other guests staying were super polite and friendly, as was every body I met and encountered in Wimberley. The creek behind the cabins is really nice and runs clear.
Will definitely stay here again next time I visit my friends in Wimberley and would highly recommend it for enjoying all the attractions Wimberley offers in a luxurious and comfortable stay.

Great little cabin right on the creek and steps away from the square. We stayed in the Cozy Cabin since we knew we'd be spending most of our time exploring the town and it was exactly what we needed - very clean with a king size bed, a mini fridge and coffee maker, a bathroom for hot showers, with rocking chairs on the front porch. We were there the same weekend as Winter's Eve so it was super festive with a parade and great live music next door.Nearly all the big attractions are right outside the front door on the square (food, drinks, shopping, we hiked out to the Blue Hole) and we were a super quick drive to the trail of lights and Shady Llama. We had the fire pit to ourselves on our first and third nights and that was fantastic. Having a designated parking spot right there on the square is a big perk. I already can't wait to go back in the summer and spent some time at the river.

Stayed at Cabins on the Square for a weekend sister trip and it was amazing!! The cabin was extremely clean and well-kept. The property is right in the Wimberley Square, walking distance from so many quaint shops and restaurants. The property itself has a fire pit, lots of outdoor seating areas, cornhole, etc. I can't wait to come back in the fall and enjoy the creekside area and fire pit. It's also a very short drive to Blue Hole Regional park, Cypress Creek Nature Trail, and Cypress Falls Swimming Hole. If you're looking for a place to stay in Wimberley this is the PERFECT place!

We used Cabins on the Square for overflow for our wedding guests and everyone raved about their stay. Perfect location, clean, and very responsive to emails and texts.

Perfect location on the creek. Walking distance to everything in downtown Wimberley. Beds were comfy and room was clean. Easy communication with the hosts. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect getaway. This is on the Cypress River and right smack on the square close to all of the eateries and shopping as well as music venues. It doesn't get much better the Blue Water here and the atmosphere with a little bit of Hill Country Texas and you got heaven. Thank you Christy hugs Shelly and Mitchell

The cabin was extremely nice and right in the middle of everything. It had great outdoor amenities. Communication with the staff was excellent and friendly. I highly recommend this property if visiting Wimberley.

This place is the perfect quiet getaway! I can’t accurately describe how cute the interiors are (and my pic does not do it justice). A private back area for “guest only” that looks out over the creek. We enjoyed a glass of wine while watching deer one evening and coffee the next morning. Then turn around and you walk into Wimberly town square with all the shopping, food, and beverage you can ask for. But wait…walk further into town and there is a trail that takes you to the Blue Hole park. We went on the trail early with coffee in hand that we picked up in town. This is the perfect place to stay while visiting Wimberly.

Our stay at Cabins on the Square was perfect. Our room was very clean and decorated so cute! You cannot beat the location! You don't need to get in your car at all to get to anywhere in the heart of Wimberly! The host was quick to answer all communication and I really appreciate that! Highly recommend!
