I had an emergency trip DG to get supplies for a burn on my hand not knowing everything I would need to treat it. Jasper greeted me at the front door and I told him what I needed help with. He asked the type of burn and looked at my hand. He directed me straight to the isle for burn medication and grabbed everything I would need to treat it. He carried all of the supplies to the checkout for me, and even explained the order of how I should apply the medication, gauze, etc. and what to do if it continues to hurt. I asked how he knew all of this, and he said his Mom is a nurse. You did a great job raising this young man, Mom! He is so kind and empathetic. Thank you and God bless you, Jasper. My hand is so much better now thanks to you!! I hope you get a bonus for this because you saved me a trip to the ER clinic on a holiday weekend.

I shop at the store located at 125 Carney Ln Wimberley Tx 3-5 days a week. When I first came to Wimberley and started working for WISD in 2021 I had never shopped at a Dollar General before. I quickly became a "Regular" and usually spent my lunch period grabbing a quick snack and checking out the Holiday aisles and Home Decor. Fast forward to 2023 and now into 2024...It is no longer an appealing store to shop in. The aisles are frequently blocked, the shelves are poorly stocked and almost never faced. The store is dirty and the customer service is extremely poor. The only reason I continue to shop there is to grab a soft drink and some junk food to get me through the afternoon.

I had the occasion to stop in Dollar General with a friend of mine. After picking up a few needed items, we were browsing the isles. An employee, Jayla, asked us if she could be of assistance in finding an item, and then went so far as to assist with recommendations in the make-up isle since we were not familiar with the brands. We were both impressed with Jayla's interaction with not only us, but with other customers during our visit to Dollar General. Kudos to this employee and her professionalism!

I don’t go to it that much but, if I were in a pinch for food it’s a very convenient spot for snacks. I’ve been inside of it multiple times when I was younger and older and it has better stock now than it used to. They also changed the layout which I like.
