We met with some family and friends for 4 days we attempted to book here for all 4 nights however it was full the first night. So, we were able to book for the following 3 nights. The set up of the hotel is great (parking so so) around the pool. We were in Room #9 and the room was nice and clean no complaints there. I wasn't told about the complimentary candles! The only complaint that I would have about room 9 is in case of an emergency there is NO WAY OUT besides the front door, and if that's blocked, you're in trouble! The windows that are there have those Glass Blocks so there's no breaking through those! The other thing is the trash by the BBQ pit area was never picked up! even though housekeeping went and cleaned the rooms. But overall it was a very comfortable environment!

The room was amazing very spacious, but it lacks drawers to put away your belongings. We came with a party of 4 couples while everyone else got a complimentary candle and their breakfast vouchers we did not i did call them to let them know about the vouchers they said they would bring them over and they did but just one and we were 2 and we stayed here for 4 days 3 nights and we booked with plenty of time so they knew we were coming so i feel they had plenty of time to be prepared for everyone in our party but they weren't. We hung by the pool and hot tub which i love its open 24 hours love how the set up is of the rooms to the pool. They have a pit for bbqing which set up under a huge tree and a nice pergola that has lights but do not turn on they need more lights for the ambiance to be so much better. I will think about booking here again if we ever come back.

I just returned from a wonderful 2-night stay at the Hotel Flora and Fauna. It was wonderful in every way! The room was so spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Loved the upscale Salt + Stone toiletries, the facial wipes, and earplugs in the bathroom. The robes were a nice touch as well! The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities and it's rare to have a freezer in your room, so that was a bonus! It's a 3 minute walk to Leaning Pear and a 2 minute walk to an excellent BBQ spot--both were great meals! The drive to HEB is 3 minutes--very convenient. Also really appreciated the free breakfast pastry and coffee down the road. I will be telling everyone I know who comes to Wimberley to stay here and look forward to my next stay, too!

I would rate this establishment 1 star. I stayed here for 5 days and I was so happy to leave this place. A random lady came knocking at my door with no uniform in regular clothes asking to come into my room to grab “a plant” I have a small child I said no what are your doing here? She claimed she was in charge of the plants at the property. There is no maids, no lobby, no workers. If you look up the definition if a “hotel” versus a “motel” this is a motel not a hotel in anyway. Very much so false advertisement. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Recently or well updated, motel style with private courtyard. Great host, with top amenities to make a private, safe personal experience.

Since this beautiful place does not have service. It is touchless. Great bed super clean and quite. Will be staying here again.

A girlfriend and I stayed a couple of nights in February 2025. The room was pristine and nicely furnished. Very comfy bed. Wish I had read all the amenities as the pool had a heated tub at one end. Should have packed my bathing suit! Charming courtyard. The hotel is walking distance to the center of town where we enjoyed shopping and cocktails and really great meals. I'll be back!!

We enjoyed our stay. I love how it feels like a home away from home, rather than just a standard hotel room. The bed was very firm and comfortable. We were able to watch the Superbowl on the TV. If we can stay here again, I would bring an electric pan so I can cook. There's a beautiful kitchenette in the room with plates, cutlery, knives, cutting board, refrigerator, freezer etc, but no stovetop. It's a nice 10 minute walk to the square, but I just wish there was a sidewalk throughout the walk. There is a central sidewalk through part of the walk but surely doesn't go all the way. We had a six year old, and I was so scared since the drivers drive so fast on these roads. I also enjoyed the breakfast where the hotel gives us a voucher for one coffee and a pastry. I most of all love the quaint and quiet location!

I have stayed at Hotel Flora and Fauna a few times now. It is a quiet and quaint place to stay. While it is not within walking distance, it is close to the Square. I did stay at another place in town once because Hotel Flora and Fauna was full and it did not even compare. Hotel Flora and Fauna is much nicer and quieter. I will be back in the future.

Great stay, room spacious and comfortable but the TV schedule & guide sucks. Not much local channels and NO SPORTS, mostly movies that we don't care for

Really nice bed, clean and quiet. If you’re looking for a romantic time this place is great. Super close to town as well.
