I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this is one of the most charming and hospitable places I have ever been in.
The bed, comfy
The decor, lovely
The staff, warm and accommodating
Conveniences, plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The motel itself offers free Wi-Fi, a kitchen with ice and water, snacks.

Services Used: Room and Board, Wedding Venue
I can do nothing but sing praises about this venue. The owners, Marci and Lloyd, are absolutely on top of everything and were in constant communication with us on every step of our wedding. They had great recommendations for local vendors which also gave us the opportunity to give money to a great community.
I highly recommend renting out not only the venue but the additional 8 rooms on site - it was a great gift we could give to our wedding party and having the entire venue to ourselves for the weekend really made it special for the night leading up as well as the morning after. Bonus points for the breakfast served with fresh cooked eggs.
The owners were also onsite during the wedding assisting with last minute changes and being generally available for anyone who needed them. Aside from that they were a fun addition to our guests with normal conversation, giving them recommendations on things to do in the area and swapping stories and it felt less like a business transaction and more like a fun addition to our wedding party.
The horse carriage ride is super cute and Mickey is the sweetest baby so 100% recommend adding that in as well.
I could write a book on how great this place was and I will recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with outstanding people running it.

We loved our time in Wimberley and our stay the Square Inn. Great location, within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and good times. Our room was very comfortable, the courtyard was relaxing, snacks in the room and a darn good breakfast by Lloyd. Coming to Wimberley, you better stay here! We will be back!

This was a perfect getaway to come for a rest from the city!

We come out every few months to disconnect and rest. We enjoy staying at Square Inn and not having to move the car for anything! Crystal and Lloyd are always pleasant and provide excellent service. The rooms are clean, and the overall energy is calm and quiet. It's a great place to recharge your batteries.
It's also very conveniently located at Wimberley Square, so you can explore all the little businesses around the Square without ever moving your car.

My boys and I LOVE the home suite at Square Inn. It is our favorite space to stay in town. Between the breakfast that I don't have to cook, the carriage rides that drive us around the square, being conveniently located ON the town square, and the courtyard and backyard for my kids to run around and play while still being fenced in - ugh, doesn't get better than that. And $4 happy hour beer and wine all day every day!? Okay. We see you Square Inn. I LOVE it here.

This charming bed and breakfast made our recent trip unforgettable. The host was incredibly welcoming, always eager to assist with any questions, and the breakfast was fantastic! The location was perfect, offering the best of everything. Our stay was truly wonderful, and we will definitely return!

Lovely spot in the middle of Wimberly Square. The room was great and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean, and the lobby was comfortable and inviting to hangout and mingle. Would stay here again in heartbeat.

We stayed at the Square Inn last night and it was THE perfect Wimberly'esq place to stay! You feel like you're staying in a home. The staff is very gracious and felt you were very taken care of. Highly recommend!

Absolutely excellent spot to stay in Wimberley! Accommodations, service, amenities, etc, all above & beyond expectations. Luxurious stay in this quaint little town! The owners are so hospitable, making you really feel like family; breakfast was top-notch, furnishings and all are just incredible. Location in town is perfect - very walkable to everything. Coffee was good, well appointed hotel. Definitely our new go-to when in Wimberley!

Had a group of 18 ladies there for a Bible Study had the whole place to ourselves. They were so very accommodating to us all. Wonderful place to stay and with walking distance to everything.

My wife and I had a great stay. We were stopping into Wimberly to spend the day and decided that we would like to stay the night. We were very fortunate that the Square Inn had one available room. It was the bridal suite, called Faythe. The room was very large with lots of storage, an outside patio area, and a nice bathroom. The staff was excellent, and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.Walkability: Everything that you would want to eat, drink, or shop, is within a 5 minute walk.

Had the pleasure of staying here over the weekend while passing through town. VERY courteous, hospitable family owned bed and breakfast! Short walk to the restaurant/shopping row, very comfortable rooms, very friendly staff, beautiful little courtyard they set up to just sit, relax, and enjoy you’re complimentary breakfast in (should’ve taken a pic for the review, whoops!) Did I mention very friendly family owned business? :) would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay, and would gladly stay here again!
