Its very unfortunate to see other reviews relatable to my experience also,I was here just this weekend touring the beautiful town, almost every shop was such a wonderful welcome - but this one. It was uneasy and I felt borderline harassed while shopping by a sales associate in a cowboy hat, dress and boots. As once a retail worker myself, I want the customer to feel welcomed with a greet at the door (you know like "Hello! Welcome”) and engage in conversation if it’s assumed that the customer may be "stealing". Questions such as "Are we looking for something special today?" or even just a "How’d you hear about us?" is far better than being followed literally from one end of the store to the other... the whole time. I went in circles on purpose to watch her literally watch me. If I wasn't so bothered by it, I would probably have laughed. I didn't buy anything because I couldn't focus on what I was looking for without feeling awkward and unwelcomed.

I really miss the Austin store so I made the over an hour drive from Cedar Creek to the Wimberley location. IT WAS MORE THAN WORTH THE TRIP! Emily was absolutely outstanding in helping me find the perfect outfits for my needs. I spent over two hours in the store ! I would have stayed longer but had an appointment. Didn’t take too many pics because I was having such an incredible fun experience shopping. You must go check them out! They have it all. One stop shop for Clothes, lingerie, jewelry, shoes, hats, sunglasses, belts, and much more. Hands down my favorite store in Texas.

My mother and I avoid shopping for clothes at all costs- but WOW! We had such a wonderful experience here.Emily really listened to our styles and helped created looks that we would have never tried before. The environment is comfortable and we found everything we were looking for and more. Can't say enough positive things about this place :)

Your store lost two sales today because of the following so close in the store and the hiding in between clothes watching customers. There were two different ladies who literally followed my Mom and daughter in law in the store that it made them so uncomfortable they decided to not purchase anything. I see this store had the same issue 4 months ago under reviews. There has been no change. We were from out of town and the first thing my mom wanted to do was buy the pretty dress she saw hanging on display at your store but the acts caused such a disappointment, she changed her mind to which my daughter in law agreed to the uneasiness and changed her mind as well.

We had the best customer service-my friends and I came in, unknowingly 30 minutes before closing, but the sales people did not rush us out. They answered questions about products and took us to items that we asked about. They visited with us and asked about our visit to Wimberley. They even provided suggestions for a place to eat. The outside displays were taken in after we had left the store and we’re getting into our car. Thank you!

The Bazaar is such a fun place as well as having amazing people to talk to and ask for even more good places to go. If you have never gone to Wimberly you need to go to the Bazaar

The selection of clothing is impeccable, however the staff members can be a little too crowded and pushy, I enjoy my shopping experience without being followed around. Please try to read your customers and understand who to upsell to and who to allow a quiet shopping experience.

Love this store and the owner is a doll. She's kind caring and helpful. She also remembers her customers even if it's been a year or more she still recognizes me

This is a nice vintage resale shop which also specializes in jewelry, wigs, and Mardi Gras items. They also have glassware, old magazines, records, and Halloween make up. The prices were fairly reasonable, but in some cases a little bit high, and the records were already picked through and over priced. It's worth stopping in and the photos included give greater insight.

We walked into this shop in Wimberley and were greeted with fun, friendly staff wearing Halloween costumes. A young lady dressed as Wednesday Addams from the Addams Family was so cute and sweet. I kept feeling a familiar vibe about this place while my UT friends and I shopped. We tried on lots of fun bohemian, vintage type items. My friend and I ended up buying similar silk wide leg harem pants. The staff was super helpful. Two stores later, I realized that I just shopped at the Bazaar. I shopped at the Bazaar when it was on The Drag back in the early 90's! This was such a super nostalgic moment for me. I am so glad that we stopped in!

The owner of this place is wonderful. We had a great time looking around the store and ended up with a fake pearl necklace and a hat. There were some great vintage items and costume like clothing. I will be back next time I visit!

What a bizarre bazaar! This place is somewhat legendary. The owner, Gay used to have a shop out on the Drag in Austin, then one on Riverside. Now, all those are shut down as a product of high Austin rents. Some things just can't stand up to those high rents in Austin. Gay moved all the inventory to downtown Wimberley, where it fits right in. This place is the premier place to go for wigs, fake mustaches, corsets, and just weird clothing. It's rumored that Gay was the fashion designer for Fara Fawcett back in the day when she was going to UT. They not only have clothes and fashion accessories, they sell vinyl records and lots of old toys and knick-knacks like a regular antique mall. The staff was real gracious about having us come in and take a look around! Be sure to check out the 'texagon' paving stones that make up the walkway in front of this place!
