This thrift store sits amongst a few other businesses that you can visit by walking a short distance from the parking lot. The thrift store itself is also connected to a historical home filled with antiques that you can look at and purchase. A short distance across the parking lot is another store that mostly has household appliances, lighting and fixtures. After looking through that space, I was not impressed. The thrift store itself is about as big as a convenience store where half the floor is given to clothing. They do have some books, games, a few furnishings, but not a whole lot else besides clothing. This place is worth poking your head into, but it's unlikely you'll find any collectible treasure.

Dropped off our donation today as we have done many times before. One of the ladles working was having a fit that we didn't park our vehicle in a "hatched out" area by the building which didn't make sense. Usually that means that vehicles should avoid the area! Bad signage also to direct traffic. Very rude! I think we'll being finding another place to donate!

Didn’t smell like a thrift store! I like the smaller community vibe. Didn’t buy anything, but will keep a few things in mind.

Great little place to stop by, had some nice books and some other finds I couldn’t buy at the time, but I’ll certainly visit when in town (and when it’s open)

I try to go there whenever I'm in Wimberley. I make quilts for kids in the foster care system in Central Texas and also for the babies in our local pregnancy center and I can almost always find sheets to use for the quilt backs at the Village Store at a reasonable price. Sometimes I even find sequins, ribbons, and other embellishments that I use to decorate Christmas stockings for Grandma's Stocking Guild which are also given to kids in the foster care system.Great "finds" at good prices and always helpful, friendly volunteers. I almost never leave without a book or two or three, also.

Phenomenal thrift store with great prices but do not expect your typical southern hospitality when you shop here. The volunteers are some of the rudest I've ever encountered. They're unnecessarily unkind and unhelpful. If you need to get a large piece of furniture loaded to your car or delivered, be prepared to do it on your own. They've even made my children cry. My children are 1 and 3. I keep them in a stroller or on my hip at all times. My son reached for a trinket as we were checking out and the old man at the cash register practically pop his little hand away before scolding him. I was so startled, I left without saying a thing.Be prepared to have your game face on when you shop here. The staff is truly a crotchety old gang of adult diaper wearing jerks!
