  Beware! Untrustworthy!!!
  I hired this body shop to do the job they quoted. They went behind me to the insurance company and unknowing to me got a bid for a more detailed job. My auto is older, I did not need the car fix to perfection. I wanted them to do the job they said they could do. They changed the scope of work without my approval. When questioned about the 2,500 increase in price, they declined to finish the job, and I got my car back in pieces.
  
  Thanks to Ernie’s in San Marcos for finishing a chopped job.
  
  Note- I most certainly am not confused; I would have never provided an estimate to a body shop of work I DID NOT WANT DONE!
  
  Beware- this body shop lies!

  I can’t remember the last time I have left a review for any place, but I felt like it was necessary here. I had an unfortunate accident and decided to take my car to Wimberley Collision to help with the repairs. They are a local shop for me and I heard good things about them. It was probably the best decision I could have made. Every step of the process was completely painless and the professionalism here is top tier. They worked with my insurance company directly and didn’t need to involve me at any step. They just got it done. With how busy my wife and I are raising little ones and working full time, it was nice to not worry about this headache so much as we could feel we were in good hands. Specifically I would like to give a shout out to Derwyn and Christina. Y’all were friendly, knowledgeable and just a pleasure to work with. Y’all are great at what you do and I hope every customer appreciates y’all as much as I do. Selfishly, I hope I never have to visit your shop again, but if I find myself in a similar situation, I won’t hesitate to come back :) THANK YOU!!

  Wimberley Collision has done body work 4 different times for me. All previous times were good. Not so much this time. Took my truck in last September. Damage to truck and rear cover. Got truck back in 2 weeks. Got my new cover back yesterday. That's right. 4 MONTHS. I can't begin to tell you all the excuses or the number of times I had to call for a report. My bad was paying the bill before it was complete. I asked for a discount and all I got was condisention. Derwin said he would look into it and when I picked it up yesterday, he said nothing.
  TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVIVE.

  First off, my car required a Major Mechanic to handle all of the engine damages and they employ the best mechanics in Wimberley. On top of that, the level of service provided by both Christina and Derwin are unmatched. They truly took care of my car and made the whole experience as easy as possible. Do yourself a favor and give them a shot.

  Worst place ever, unfortunately I had high hopes and had to bring my car back, had a bunch of over spray and communication was horrible wouldn't recommend unless you like shitty work be my guest!!

  its never fun or the best timing to bring your car to the body shop. however wimberley collision makes it easy and fast. they are very helpful and very reasonable. will keep coming back.

  Overall a very poor experience. We were hoping to support a local business and have regretted that decision. I honestly can’t see how they’re still in business. Took my sons vehicle in to have hail damage repaired. When we got the truck back, there was a huge paint glob on the hood, top of the passenger fender had a very poor dent repair/paint job done. Cowl cover was installed but no hardware was installed. Overhead console was broken when removed and took almost 2 months to get it replaced. Headliner had black fingerprints on the corners from removal and reinstall. Headliner was not properly attached to roof. Owner of business now blaming these problems on paintless dent repair contractors that he hired and saying they aren’t responding to his calls. Beware!Services: Painting

  Would not recommend to anyone. Also they aren't in network with State farm. Meaning if you have a problem with the work you are on your own.

  Great work. They wash your vehicle after they complete it and help get rental for customers. They don't make you wait months before getting your vehicle in or repaired.
