Went by TSC for a propane hose that showed they had in stock (per their website). Got there and they didn't have any. Drove down the street to Strattons. Bought a hose, which wasn't cheap and went home. The hose did not fit the tank properly. I still had the receipt and it was within 30 days, but when I tried to return it, they refused. They were too lazy to put it back in the package, tape it up, and send it back to the manufacturer. So now I'm out money AND stuck with a hose I can't use. Definitely will not be going back to this place with horrible customer service like this.

I Purchased for a pretty penny, a garden wind twirler put it on my front yard and the screw on one side constantly on twisted so I was constantly going out twisting it and tightening it. The other side was fine. Then I came out two mornings in a row several of the metal blades had broken off. I examined the blades and it’s pretty as the item is the metal is paper thin. I returned to the purchase, sir, that I bought it from and her name is Joy and she happens to be the owner. She remembered that I bought it, I didn’t have my receipt I would’ve been happy to take a store credit she actually said to me “we’ve never had anyone return this before“ so I say “I’m returning it now how many do you have to have before you believe the customer that it broke because of the wind ?”Then she accused me of it, having been broken for more reasons other than it just being wind. She pointed to a part of the blade being missing, and I pointed to another blade that had broken off that that same area was not missing so that doesn’t prove anything and I is the customer to her as the owner and telling her these broke off in the wind so it’s a cheap, flimsy product. Again she said “we have these sitting out by the road twirling really fast all the time something else must’ve happened “so she’s out really really calling me a liar.. this is the owner calling me a liar, because she doesn’t believe this flimsy Windmill thing broke off in the wind! Then again, she stupidly says to me “well it’s not meant for the beach because the past few days the winds have been really strong so it wasn’t meant for that it’s an act of God“ so I say “OK so how many miles an hour do the winds have to blow before I know to take it in since it’s not meant for these kind of wins?“ I mean, this is a stupid argument on her part, all of them were stupid arguments. Then one of her d*** employees a girl just gets smart with me because she doesn’t like the fact that I’m questioning JOY, The owners d*** argument against this, obviously defective product, and what’s worse is accusing me of lying to her. Then another employee jumps, and it tells me I’m not being very nice well hell no I’m not being nice because he missed the whole part of the conversation or she’s accusing me of breaking it and it was not the wind. You would be mad too when Employees just jump into defend her but they haven’t heard her accusing me of being a liar. Then she says “do you have a rear receipt? So you ask me at the end after you accuse me a liar I have already told you upfront I don’t have my receipt but I bought it from. YOU!!! The owner and she remembers it because they’re not another one in there and it wasn’t very long ago. This is an owner with a small town mentality, no business sense whatsoever used to selling her little trinkets and being the pleasant old lady at the front desk but she has absolutely no business sense. To accuse your CUSTOMER lying and then making really ignorant comments about the wind, and I should know it shouldn’t go in this wind, act of God, all this nonsense. This is the kind of mentality that can handle a little sweet shop in town, but is losing business, and will continue to lose business to tractor supply because she has no common business sense.

I was in the store when a lady walked in with a return. The owner of the store actually called her a liar or it was an act of God. No return. Then he'll broke loose. The customer was totally mistreated. I will never frequent the store again. I have shopped there over 10 years.

I had household items, furniture, and family heirlooms stored in expensive climate controlled storage at Stratton's Tru Value in Winnie. The unit FLOODED sometime during the 5 years while we lived out of the country and RATS destroyed what wasn't destroyed by 8" of standing water. All items were packed by professional movers and many were off of the floor on metal shelves. We were NEVER notified that the unit had flooded. Joy, the owner, told us we were responsible for checking on our unit. She did have 2 phone numbers that would have reached us overseas, but not even a message was left when the unit flooded. Over $30K was damaged or lost and Joy only blames us. Sad, sad, sad!!!
