Stillwater RV Resort

Hours: Stillwater RV Resort is a large, 92-acre destination located off I-20 near Tyler, Texas. It features many luxury resort amenities, including a salt water lazy river, heated salt water pools, a swim-up bar, all-concrete roads, on-site food and drink service, a pond with a floating inflatable attraction, a recreation room, arcade, exercise room, and ice cream bar. The park has great potential and offers a lot of things to do. Reviews consistently praise the friendly, amazing, and very nice staff at the bars, restaurant, reception desk, and throughout the management. The parking pads are nice and level, and the facilities are clean. The food at the restaurant is good. However, the pools require significant work. Multiple guests reported the pool water was quite dirty, with trash floating in it, a greasy film, and human grime. The water was also described as hot and not refreshing. The lazy river is very slow. While the pond attraction is a nice feature, staff supervision was noted as lacking. The park could also benefit from more planted trees for shade. Despite these maintenance issues, many guests found it a nice place to visit, a really cool spot with awesome amenities, and one of the most amazing places they have ever stayed, planning to return.
