My daughters and I are on vacation from California. My daughters have never been riding before. I love to ride so for my birthday we came. The Zabcik Ranch is a great ranch to go to for beginners. They take there time have you get to know the horses, learn about horses brush &saddle Lena and Jessie are patient and knowledgeable. The ranch is beautiful and the trails are marked. Our horses were very beautiful smart and well trained ( Sassy Leggs, and Majestic.My youngest daughter was afraid of horses before we came , but now she loves them and can't wait to ride again. The experience was life changing for my family. I recommend the Zabcik Ranch to everyone.

First time rider and had Leggs and oh boy was Leggs ready to ride as soon as I got on. Was nervous when I first got on since the horse was so big but once the trail ride was going it was better and I felt way more comfortable. Was a great experience for sure!! Only down side was my butt hurt lol. Highly recommend!

Lovely ranch, price is cheaper compared to other places and they let you do more with the horses too.

Went for my wife’s bday and this was one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had!! Price vs the experience we had was insane. Please please support this small business. As for me and my family we will be coming back many times!!!

I cannot say enough great things about Zabcik Ranch! They truly saved the day by accommodating us on such short notice when I had to change venues just one week before my daughter's 7th birthday party. From start to finish, they helped bring my vision to life—horse rides, pony painting, and a sparkling backdrop that made the entire day magical.
The staff was incredible and prioritized the kids' safety by teaching them how to properly mount and dismount the horses. They also educated everyone on how to approach the horses safely, including recognizing signs of a scared horse that might react unexpectedly.
The ranch provided everything we needed—tables, a washing station, and even an outdoor potty, making the experience smooth and stress-free. The ponies were the highlight of the day! The kids had an unforgettable time grooming and painting them, which made for such a unique and fun activity.
A special thank you to Lena, who was absolutely amazing to work with. She was professional, kind, responsive, understanding, and flexible throughout the entire process. Thanks to her and the Zabcik Ranch team, my daughter's birthday was a dream come true.
I highly recommend Zabcik Ranch for private lessons, parties, or group rides. You won’t be disappointed!

I want to share my wife and my first experience trail riding with Lena! My wife has not been on a horse but once in her life. Lena paid close attention and gave my wife great advice how to ride and stayed with her. Lena and her assistant Mecca are professional guides. We had a great time and will continue to go back! We highly recommend going horseback riding with either one of them.

Awesome place visit for either a guided trail ride (beginner and first timer friendly) or to take leasons. I can't believe how much my daughter has learned there in such a short amount of time!

Booked this trail ride for my daughters and their friend who were all home from college for the winter break. It was a beautiful ride and the owner was very welcoming and friendly. The horses were trained and well taken care of. (We often seek out trail rides while on vacation and sometimes it breaks my heart the conditions that we have seen trail horses in.). During the trail ride, the owner shared the incredible history of her property going back to World War II. I would very much recommend this place. The cost was also very affordable for an hour ride. Apparently you can plan longer rides and pack a lunch. We will definitely be back and bring friends in the spring. Would highly recommend! D.Kowalski

Amazing sunset trail ride! Lena was awesome to work with! She is patient, knowledgeable and wonderful with kids. She accommodated our family when we visited East Texas and worked us into her schedule without a lot of advance notice! She went ALL OUT to make sure our experience was a memorable one and I would highly recommend a trail ride with her and her beautiful horses! My Dad (72), my daughter (9), my nephews (8) and (9) and I all had a blast and the weather was beautiful! Thank you, Lena!!!
