Wonderful staff and service
I have been going to Sunset for many years. I find their service and helpfulness above any automotive service center I have dealt with in over 60 years. I have used them for oil change, battery replacement, pre trip checks and of course, repairs.
I hope to use them for many driving years to go.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I have trusted Arty for a number of years and have taken my car in for various repairs. In the past year, on two separate occasions my car has been returned to me with a completely empty coolant resevoir. On both occasions my car was NOT having cooling system repairs done. They were dealing with something completely separate from the cooling system and had no reason to drain coolant. When I called to confront Arty about this, he reassured me they didn't do anything, yet there my coolant resevoir was, totally empty. I had even checked the levels prior to taking it in. They have completely lost my trust. I will have to have repairs done elsewhere for a problem that they caused. This is unbelievable and totally disappointing. If you do take your vehicle here, I STRONGLY recommend doing a once over of all your fluids as they seem to be trying to run some sort of scam.

Shitty service and horrible at what they do! I had my truck taken to get an oil change with my own oil. Cool. So they do the oil change for $15! Then my husband leaves to go to work and the engine is seized! Got it to a mechanic and come to find out there is no oil in the engine. Not even on the dipstick. I went up there and asked for a number to take the proper steps into filing a claim and the manager would not give it to me, saying it’s not their fault. Yes it is 100 percent their fault. This problem could have been avoided!!

I’ve known Mr. Thomas since he worked at the Peterbuilt house in the 90’s. I moved back home in 2016 and have trusted Sunset auto to maintain and repair my 4 vehicles. They always treat me right and give me great pricing and service.

Never trust them again. Took my Chrysler 300 for an engine light. They replaced one spark plug said it was fixed. As soon as I drove it off their property the engine light came on. They looked at it again and said to leave it with them. Another shop did not even look at it and knew the history of those cars and knew that it had a major issue and needed the engine replaced.

Took my vehicle here to get 3 things fixed. $984.00 to find out they only fixed one even at that it wasn't completed. Talked to Artie he was very rude! Do NOT recommend this place!

I have never took my car to this shop I was trying to explain everything happened to my car over the phone and he told me word for word “ya you got some major problems I’m going to have to pass on it”
