Usually with the starter you notice it takes a while starting the car hinting at something, but not this time. Basically silent. Good battery, turn key and nothing. Just a click from the starter relay.
Checked everything up to the starter that I could until finally caving and pulling out the starter. Took it to the store and had it tested, tested good but since it was under warranty they replaced it anyway. While there the manager basically went down the line of everything from the ignition to the starter, even printing out pictures of the parts so I knew what to look for.
Put new starter in and it started right up... so the starter was the problem somehow even though only a few years old. So thankful they replaced it just to make sure for my peace of mind.”
