We LOVE Primrose! Not only can I confidently leave my child in the care of their amazing teachers, but her Kindergarten readiness is off the charts! She is 4 years old and is already reading most sight words and can sound out words that she's unfamiliar with. I would attribute her success to working with her at home as well as the curriculum she's learning at Primrose. We also went through a few teacher transitions in the time we were there, but they always seemed pretty fluid and easy. We love the portal that lets us know what our child did each day, so we can have meaningful conversations with her when she gets home. Thank you, Primrose!

Primrose has been a blessing to our family! They have experienced and caring teachers and their staff are always so friendly and helpful. The days maintain a structured schedule incorporating both learning and play, which has been very beneficial for my son. He looks forward to school every day and always comes home having learned something new. More than anything, I can tell he feels safe and cared for. We love Primrose!

We are thankful to have found Primrose. Our daughter has been attending for approximately 9 months. She is doing well and growing emotionally and socially. We appreciate the daily communication between teachers/staff and the families regarding what the children are learning, the healthy meals and snacks they are eating, and the balanced curriculum. Finding quality childcare can be very challenging when considering all aspects; health, safety, school size, teacher retention, curriculum, etc. We feel that Primrose checks all of the boxes for a safe, loving, and supportive environment for our child. We are happy to have found a home in Primrose and thank you for caring for our child like your own!

We are so thankful we found Primrose when we moved back to Waco in 2020. During a very difficult time between moving, the pandemic, and finding a loving place for my children, especially my son, to be welcomed into we couldn't have asked for a better school. My oldest daughter thrived in their preschool program and was more than ready to start kindergarten. She made many long lasting friendships there that we are still connected with today. My son has Down syndrome and we knew that his needs were difficult to accommodate but Primrose and their staff went above and beyond to do so. They worked with me to allow therapists into the school during the week, and they were open to discussing unique ways of teaching him that didn't always conform to their curriculum. They included him, and gave him a loving environment to thrive in for 4 years before starting Kindergarten this past fall. We always recommend Primrose to new families and love to see their program growing and flourishing.

I will forever cherish the time I spent teaching in the Early Childhood classroom for the Department of Defense. However, when the time came for me to retire after 28 years, I felt a bit nervous about transitioning to the civilian side of my field. As a result, I decided to take a short break. During this break, my family and I found our forever home in China Spring, a beautiful and welcoming community. As time went on, I started to miss teaching and longed to be back in the classroom. That's when I discovered Primrose of Woodway Waco, a school that would become my new teaching home. Primrose of Woodway was an exceptional place to work. The age-based learning program at Primrose provided a solid foundation for children's development, and it allowed me to create engaging and enriching experiences for my students to learn and grow. The supportive leadership at Primrose was evident in every aspect of the school. From the director to the assistant teachers, everyone was dedicated to creating a nurturing and educational environment for the children. They provided guidance, resources, and continuous professional development opportunities that helped me grow as an educator. What truly stood out at Primrose was the sense of community. The staff members genuinely cared about each other and the families they served. There was a strong bond among the teachers, and we collaborated and supported each other to ensure the best outcomes for the children. The parents were actively involved in their child's education, and their support and partnership were invaluable. Unfortunately, due to the onset of a sudden medical condition, I had to step down from teaching. It was heartbreaking to say goodbye to such a wonderful community, I truly felt like family. I will forever be grateful for the time I spent at Primrose and the impact it had on my teaching career. My experience at Primrose of Woodway Waco was nothing short of exceptional. I am thankful for the time that I had working there. The school's age-based learning program, supportive leadership, and sense of community created a truly special place for both teachers and students.

PRIMROSE is incredible! I am so grateful I found this school 3 years ago. Their quality is priceless. Three years ago, my oldest daughter struggled at a different day care when she was 4 years old. She would cry all day 8am-5pm for months. She had night terrors because she was scared to go to school. The school had cameras, so I know it was nothing awful going on, but my daughter just needed some extra love and attention. I finally pulled her out because my momma heart couldn't take it anymore. By the grace of God Primrose had an immediate opening in their Pre-K class. My daughter started Primrose that next week. By the end of that first week, she was laughing and PLAYING!! YES! Mrs. Johnson was her teacher at the time and my daughter fell in love with her. The teachers at Primrose are not just teachers making money, they are MEANT to be teachers. I was in shock with how fast my daughter adjusted. The values this school instills in their children is outstanding. They took my shy/scared daughter and help mold her into the happy/playful and confident girl she is today. She walked straight into kindergarten this year ready to take on the world because of what primrose did for her. I will always be grateful for this school. Not to mention, they eat better than I do! Now, even my youngest daughter is thriving in their infant room. This school operates at the highest standard I have ever seen. The front staff is always so welcoming. I am pretty sure the front staff, says Good Morning 900x a day and have a good day 900x, nevertheless they do it with a smile on their face. Mrs. Renteria keeps everything in order up front and is always so helpful! They all are. I love this school, and I will never forget what they have done for my girls. I keep begging them to start a K-12th grade because I would pay for my child to go to this school until College!!

I was going to wait until my children no longer attended. But, I decided it cant wait and I’d rather warn people before they make the same mistake I did. My daughter attended here first. Mind you she has since been diagnosed with autism and a majority of this has happened before her diagnosis. They have held my daughter back two classes and we will likely have to work even harder with her to get her caught up because of it. She was potty training fairly well until we moved up a class. She started regressing for whatever reason and her constipation got really bad when I say bad I was having to dig her poop out. We have since resolved the problem, and are working towards getting back to where we were. They pushed her to that point though and dismissed my advice I had for her because she is speech delayed and has sensory issues. What do I know I’m just her mother. Autism and speech delay does not equal intellectual disability, but they have treated her that way from the beginning. The front staff is inconsistent with their rules and only choose what is convenient for them. They can’t keep teachers to save their lives. I could pay less for the nuns to take care of my children equally as good down at St. Francis. They made me pick up my son for possible hand, foot, mouth and Mrs. Renteria is said “I’m not a medical professional” well you’ve got that right but you also lack common sense. I had to pay and take time out of my day to take my child to the doctor for ant bites. YOU READ THAT RIGHT. Another instance was my daughter getting bit multiple times in a week which at that point this is when they were holding her back classes and all I asked was “what can we do to fix this situation” and Miss Wilma whatever her name is raised her voice at me and told me if I had an issue to speak with the director to which I did and my daughter got moved up. Let me see what else, oh they overcharged me daycares fees for months and I got a week and a half free for both of them because of it. And then when I told them about my daughters diagnosis and what our next steps were the big one with the huge glasses on her face said “well when is that going to happen” I DO NOT KNOW SWEETHEART YOUR GUESS IS AS GOOD AS MINE. Not “is there anything we can do to help Mila in the meantime?” And never relayed any information to her teachers. My advice fire the front staff. I would say they were a bunch of mean girls that peaked in high school Oh and your kids can’t go here unless they’re perfect or you will get singled out and bullied.

This place is incredible. The facility is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and professional. The teachers are passionate and caring. The food quality they provide is incredible. Great communication with parents. It’s An immensely safe and secure facility. There is nothing I wouldn’t recommend about this place. We have watched our son (19 mo) grow so much in his first month here. His social skills, emotional regulation, and communication have developed at such an expedient rate since attending. His word count alone has gone from around ten to well over 30 words he is saying or attempting to say with moderate clarity.Do yourself the favor of pricing Waco daycare and spend the extra money to put your child in a Primrose School.

I wouldn't recommend this daycare at all. My child was there for six months and during that time. We were informed that my child is a behavior issue. So we did everything they told us including paying for a child counselor ( which in my opinion was a waste of time) and during that time his behavior did improve. However it wasn't to their standard. Vanessa called us into a meeting and before we had the meeting I called her to ask her what the meeting was about and Vanessa stated it just a follow nothing serious or bad. Well that was a lie because she had her mind made up before the meeting started and told me my child was not a loud back at this daycare.

I was afraid of taking my child to a new daycare after our first experience, which was not so great. When I first came to tour Primrose, the staff made you feel welcomed and everyone was friendly! The facility is always clean which is very important to me. Ms. Rodriguez has been a great teacher and has always kept me informed on how my child’s day was. I am thankful for the app & the updates with pictures, it always makes us parents feel great knowing our kids are safe at Primrose. Highly recommend!!
