your automated system tried to bill be three times for $1800. I had to lock my credit card. Called customer service, they were no help at all. They told me "it should update in afew days" meanwhile I could not use my primary travel card for work because your system kept trying to charge me $1800.Also, it took from Dec 2023 until Feb 2024 to get my tank installed. The technician who did the install was very professional and as efficient as he could be. However, Your office sent ONE man to hand dig a 54 foot trench.

I notified AmeriGas that my propane tank was lower that I liked and they immediately filled my tank.

Yes, it was here and delivered quickly and efficiently. Of course, it was too too expensive. The gas is just too expensive!

First after talking to someone in India for 15 minutes, he hung up on me because I asked him to wait 20 seconds while I text my boss regarding a question he asked me. So I called back & they quoted me $800 for a little tank in a closet in our master bath to fill up HALF OF IT, a tiny tank. They try to rip you off & I have experienced this in the past, they just quote you whatever they think they can get away with according to where you live. This is the Shadiest Worst company I have ever dealt with. In the past they make you pay a $150 expedited fee to have them come in less than a week & then they come in over a week anyway. I could go on for an hour about all the bad things I have experienced with them. They make you pay upfront & you do that, then they send you a bill for the amount you have already paid & try to double dip & when you call fir a new order they say you have a previous balance when you don’t. It’s unreal they are in business. I give them negative 1,000 stars.

When I first contacted AmeriGas to set up an account in June of 2023, and later, in August of 2023 when I was working through the account set-up process, I was very favorably impressed. The Customer Service agents were "on-shore", they were helpful and accessible. One person actually gave me her email address so we could exchange paperwork and get things done.In November, that's when the trouble started.I was having trouble accessing my online account. Next, there was a billing error. Then, the latest problem was with a propane delivery. Every time I called, it was clear and obvious that I had called into an off-shore call center (there is constant background noise, multiple people having conversations, English is not their native language, and the agents are hard to understand). The people were polite and gave the impression they were trying to help. But I got nothing more than apologies and empty promises. It took three months to fix my online account access. It took two weeks to remove the billing error. Unusually cold weather was in the forecast so I deliberately called well in advance for a propane delivery. When I called on 1/12, I was given a delivery time frame of 1/13 to 1/19. Someone from AmeriGas showed up on 1/17 (5 days later) to deliver. That would have been acceptable, but the driver said in a status message that he could not deliver because "the ground was too soft".I have been getting propane deliveries at my house for the last 22 years and there has never been a problem with a delivery. So I called on 1/17 and requested that a driver be sent back to deliver. Again, I got apologies and promises and my delivery time frame was reset to 1/17 to 1/24 which I interpreted as a delivery within a week. By 1/19, my propane level was getting down near 25% so I lowered my thermostat to conserve fuel and my wife and I sat in a cold house waiting for a delivery. On 1/22, I was told that the delivery would be escalated and that the agent said he contacted the Wylie Texas office. I was told that I would receive an automated phone call the night before the delivery. Later that evening, I logged into my AmeriGas account and saw that the delivery time frame had, again, been reset to 1/22 to 1/29. I interpreted this to mean that I might not receive a delivery for another week.On the morning of 1/23, I checked my phone and there was no phone call from AmeriGas saying I was going to get a delivery. This, coupled with the fact that my new delivery time frame was 1/22 to 1/29 led me to conclude that I could not reasonably expect to receive a delivery anytime soon. That did it. I had waited for 10 days and completely lost all confidence that AmeriGas would deliver. On the morning of 1/23, I called a "local" propane provider. I spoke to a friendly woman who was working in an office 20 miles from my house. I asked for a delivery and she said someone would be there some time on the same day. I went to the AmeriGas web site and canceled my order and then called AmeriGas to verify the order was canceled.Incredibly, 30 minutes later, an AmeriGas delivery truck showed up in my driveway. Apparently, the ground was not "too soft" after all. I told the driver to stop, the order was canceled, and that he could leave. (I had already committed to the other provider for a delivery and I was not going to jerk them around the way AmeriGas did it to me.)Also incredibly, three hours after calling the other propane provider, their driver was in my driveway with a propane delivery. The ground was not too soft for him, either. Let me emphasize this point. I waited for 10 days for AmeriGas and got nothing. I waited 3 hours for the other provider and got results. Here's my conclusion:The AmeriGas off-shore customer support model does not provide customer support. The AmeriGas online systems are flakey. Their systems, processes, and people are unreliable, incompetent, disconnected, and inefficient.

AmeriGas does a wonderful job of monitoring my propane level and making timely deliveries. The deliveries are quick and efficient. Thank you to all the employees of AmeriGas who work to make my life easier!

Customer service is awful and they don’t deliver when you are told. To many scary cold nights and a few years worried about propane. Shouldn’t worry about this when there is other problems in the world.. Soo Disappointed, and the Service even had my percentage wrong! Had to ask for management which had it right! Crazy☹️

Worst company I have ever dealt with. They did not read my metered tank as agreed. They did not keep my tank full as agreed. They did not make deliveries as promised. They did not bill in a timely manner. I ended up paying for more propane than they delivered since they billed me 2 years after I started using another company. I paid it just to be finally done with them. Worst experience ever.

AmeriGas continues to be as frictionless a transaction as possible. I simply go online, request a refill and everything that follows is automatic. Recently they installed a remote reporting monitor on my tank which eliminate my having to request a refill. Great service.

I can't believe that you completely filled a tank that you were supposed to replace. the last time we had someone out to check the tank for leaks, said that the tank was leaking and needed to be replaced and that he would let the company know. We were just waiting to use up what was in the tank before it was replaced and without calling on knocking on the door you just sent someone to refill the tank. You are easily the worst company that I have to deal with.

Is there any way to speak to someone in the Dallas area? I've called to leave a "report" to customer service, and nothing has been actioned. Our tanks were stolen, and we are OUT of propane. Please contact AAA Candle Supply, Inc in Dallas, TX
