Didn’t even get to go, made an appointment the day before and they cancelled it without explanation very last minute, had to take my cat to an urgent vet, I don’t suggest making an appointment here.

I have been taking my pets to Banfield Pet Hospital for years. Their pet insurance plan is the best investment I made. They have gone above and beyond to help my fur babies when they have been sick!

Took my cat in for his annual comprehensive exam today and I was present a new form to fill out about things they may have to do and a list of costs and some costs not even specifiedRather than the old way where they would call before proceeding. One would be an idiot to just sign off on all these procedures. The employee informed me that they have a new manger who established this policy. Don’t be stupid and just hand these people a blank check to charge what they want. This way of doing business is underhanded but legal because once you sign off on it you’re legally bound to pay it.

I can not thanks Dr. Morgan and her staff enough. My Mr. Pickles was so sick and this facility was the only place all over Wylie that would get him in as an emergency. They actually cared. They called me frequently with updates and what our next steps would be. They were very thorough on what was going on. The vet tech (I am sorry don’t remember his name) (but he said he had a cat that looked like mine) was so nice and sweet to me. I was very stressed and I can’t say enough how great this place is. All the staff. Everyone. They really cared and took care of my sweet boy. I am so grateful and will forever take my babies here. Mr Pickles is back to his healthy self and I am so happy.

Been here 3 times and there is always an issue. Either they don't have a medicine or they couldn't perform something. Always an excuse. They don't seem skilled at performing their jobs at the level they should. They don't allow you to be with your pet which doesn't help the situation. Being with your pet can help them deal with the stress. It's not an option here. Your really better off going somewhere else.

Been bringing my dog here for 10 years. After today I will no longer be doing that. I didn’t catch her name but the young blonde at the front desk is rude. I’d advise no one to come here at this point. How can I trust my baby with someone that’s rude to the owner

I was shocked at the scam they pulled over my eyes. They told me my cat needed injections. I felt they would know and agreed. Then they came back and said we don't have this on injectable form so we can give pills. This will save you $50!!!! I said WHY DIDNT YOU OFFER THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!What a scam. Almost spent $250 and need to bring my other cat in for the same thing-so would spend $500 when after I said give the pills I saved about $100 each. They tried to give a feeble excuse for only telling me about the shots when they KNEW there was a less expensive option. That is a scam to withhold information for the customer to be able to make an informed decision. They also charged my twice as much for one dose of flea medicine-$25. I bought a whole box at Walmart at $12 a dose. They won't refund this excessive charge. Outrageous. Shame on you Banfield. I am IRATE!!!!!!!!

They are not my normal vet, but my vet tore her dewclaw and needed immediate attention. Unfortunately, my vet of 20+ didn't have any appointments available. Banfield fit me in the same day, which was amazing. They fixed her up and got me out-of there. They were busy, so I had to wait. The only reason I could give 5 stars is I could not be back there with my girl. She is a Husky and very vocal. I heard her crying out and I could be there with her. That broke my heart. They did inform me what was going on and why they were doing everything they were doing. I did appreciate that.

Save your money and pet and go somewhere else. They are not there to help u or your pet feel better. It's a business they are running. They should be shame of what they are doing specially being a veterinarian doctor who is suppose to help. I would give negative star if I could.

Our new puppy stopped eating a few days after we got him. We took him to Banfield in Wylie to have some test run. They found nothing and wanted to refer us to a pet hospital but that ended up being $4k to $5k for a overnight stay. The trip to Banfield was almost $700 with no answers and the hospital option was just not something we could afford. The breeder who was absolutely great during this suggested we bring him home with a couple prescriptions. I picked him up around 4 pm and he was weak but still moving around trying to be a puppy. At 5 pm we gave him his 1st round of antibiotics and some nutrical as well as a small amount of puppy food which he took all this pretty smoothly considering he was very weak. By 6 pm he was sleeping but restless and we had him setup on the sofa between us. I noticed him moving around alot through the evening but then not so much. I was hoping he was finally getting some relief and just sleeping. My wife moved him to her chest around 9 pm but he was very unresponsive yet seemed to be breathing normally. Around 10 pm my wife noticed he wasn’t breathing and had relaxed.my experience with this location was very negative. The staff was rude and not attentive, The vet seemed to be inexperienced or just didn’t care and only wanted to run more test and charge us more money. I’m not a vet and don’t understand exactly what was done to our puppy but he crashed and past away within 6 hours of leaving this facility so I would suggest finding a smaller, local vet and not use these “corporate” type businesses.
