PART 2:
I went to the competitor, got a transfer request form that should not have been required (see PART 1 review) and then went to the Wiley CUTX branch because it was near the competitor. I entered my name into the electronic queue device in the lobby and waited there about five minutes until a bank associate came to discuss my needs. He informed me that I would need to handle my business with a manager so I continued to wait. I decided to get a roll of pennies that I needed at the nearby teller station as my wife waited in the lobby for the manager within my view. I handed a dollar bill to the teller and stated that I needed a roll of pennies. The process for simply getting a roll of pennies involved providing ID, watching a senior teller assist the junior teller with doing stuff on the computer for about 10 minutes, waiting another five minutes while they disappeared into a back room, then waiting another few minutes while they filled out a paper form, then they had me sign the electronic signature pad and I finally got the roll of pennies and two quarters. It required a 15 minute process and jumping through hoops to get a roll of pennies! It wasn't even a withdrawal; it was a direct, small cash exchange. I returned to waiting with my wife in the lobby for over half an hour in view of most of the bank's personnel who weren't working with any customers. I finally asked about why nobody was helping us, and we found out that the first bank associate had mistakenly removed me from the electronic queue when he had came to the lobby to inquire about my business needs. I finally met with the manager and got the check after spending nearly four hours total at the two CUTX branches that day. I'd say that they have room for improving their in-house customer service. I gave them two stars instead of one because they did remain polite during all of this nonsense.

Horrible banking experience. Long wait times on phone and in person. Terrible fees compared to larger national banks. I wish I never came here and can’t wait to get all of my money out of this disgusting credit union. Beware!

I had an exceptional experience with CUTX, thanks to John's outstanding support and deep knowledge. His expertise made my interaction with CUTX seamless and enjoyable. If John relocates to another branch, I'll gladly follow due to his invaluable assistance. Highly recommend CUTX for their top-notch service!

I'll give a solid 5 star for my visit today. Mrs. Danielle and Luis were friendly and very helpful. I haven't been able to access my account for 2 months. They were able to fix it and get everything back on track.
FYI:
The online banking was helpful at all, nor did the manager call me back or help any further (as he stated he would). They earned 1 out of 5 stars.

I visited this Wylie location last Friday, June 7th after leaving the Customer Appreciation Celebration at the Garland branch location. There were no Bank Tellers at either of the 3 desk, the young man looked at me when O enter but quickly started playing with the pamphlets, there were 2 representatives in the side offices to the left - o e customer had just walked out of the office closest to the front door but the other black lady saw me and quickly stared at her computer screen as I stood across from her office waiting for assistance. No one greeted me, acknowledged me and I waited several minutes. I made a phone call complaining to my family waiting outside loudly saying no one was working and the reps did not greet me or acknowledged me as I stood waiting for service. Minutes later a young lady co
Es from the back slowly to assist and never apologized for the wait. Long story short I would never consider visiting this branch again and if your employees don’t show common courtesy then why have employees- just close the branch and become a satellite location, it’s a no brainer because they’re not serving the customers that way at all. I’m big on customer service and without you should just close the doors.

My recent visit to CUOT Wylie allowed me to meet Orlando Martinez, a young teller whose professionalism left an indelible impression. Despite his youthful appearance, it was evident that he strived for excellence. Being young, I could tell that he was just starting out in his career. His small talk was refreshing. I look forward to seeing him. Under the right management he will absolutely excel! So, CUOT, please treat him right! Good help is hard to find, and often difficult to keep.

I will be banking with a different credit union in the near future.
1. They feel entitled to your money
2. Every time I walk into a branch they try to push a car loan on me, even after I say "no thank you". Who is lesiure buying cars or taking out loans willie-nillie?
3. I have to call them way too much to do simple things
4. They re-order transactions. I've seen DEBITS settle on my account 2 days after I make them and It's not uncommon for me to see transactions for dates in the future. For example, RIGHT NOW on my account, I have a doordash transaction marked for the 16 but today is the 15, So I can time travel now? How does a transaction settle into the future, today?
I regret banking with CUTX, after my car note is paid (hopefully by next month) i will be leaving and I will actively advise against getting involved with CUTX.

When things are going well CUTX is fine but when I need help or answers it’s like pulling teeth to get assistance. Response times are slow and communication is bare minimum and usually uninformed to the point that it takes lots of back and forth to get things done. They also have no problem taking PII data over unsecured email which is likely a PCI-DSS violation. Bank elsewhere, there are better options.
