New time change sucks

New hours are incredibly disappointing. Not that it really matters - if you came in anywhere from 9PM-1AM, you could not move around the store without a slew of massive stocking palletes being moved around. Location has gone from being one of the biggest and best in DFW to moving so downhill. Again, disappointing. One of the flaws of being in a city filled to the brim with trashy privileged high schoolers.

New renovations came with some kid in a cheap suit and a sleazy sales pitch who doesn’t work for Kroger trying to harass you as you walk in the store. If that’s going to be the customer experience going forward, I’m going to go down the street to Walmart or Tom Thumb instead of having to dodge a pitch every time I walk in the store.

Really disappointed in my experience today. Right by the shopping cart bay at the entrance there was a big sign that said military/ veterans get 10% Off for Memorial Day weekend. I scanned the qr code on the sign but it wouldn't scan in to my app. I shopped & asked the check out clerk about the veteran discount. She didn't even know about it, went to ask a few co workers & came back to tell me no one knows about it & that another said they just aren't doing the offer! I explained it is posted right at the front of the store! The clerk could have cared less. I'm actually very disappointed in this not being honored after being advertised. Do better Kroger!

Do not order your cakes and cupcakes online! What you see is not what you get, the order form does not give you accurate options. Call the store and order. The bakery staff is super helpful and accommodating!

Two-Star Review for Kroger in Wylie, TX
Whoever decided to rearrange this entire store like it was a Rubik’s Cube after a six-pack of Red Bull owes me gas money, therapy, and an apology letter written in kale.
This place used to be easy to navigate—healthy stuff around the edges, junk in the middle, like a sensible grocery donut. Now? Junk food is EVERYWHERE. You have to go on a full-blown scavenger hunt to find an avocado. Meanwhile, a wall of cookies is staring you down from every direction like it’s trying to raise your cholesterol by eye contact alone.
You’ve turned a simple grocery run into an episode of Survivor: Processed Food Island.
I’m convinced the new layout was designed by someone who’s never actually shopped for groceries. Or someone who works for Little Debbie.
Can’t wait for H-E-B to open down the street so I can finally escape this chaos and shop somewhere that doesn’t feel like a bad prank.
Two stars—one for the hardworking employees, and one for the vague memory of what Kroger used to be before the Great Layout Debacle of 2025.

Consistently late on having my pick up order ready. I place my orders early in the morning, between 8am-10am, so that my husband can pick them up at 6pm on his way home from work. This gives this store 8 to 10 HOURS to get the order ready, yet it rarely is ready. Sometimes we have to wait until the next day, other times 20mins to get it. My husband has been at work since 520am, he is ready to get home. The pick up order issues NEED to be fixed. It's a great service, one I'm appreciative for. Just wish they would have our order ready on time.

Night Manager Kimberly is outstanding. She helped me with an issue on March 11 with ordering from catering. She went above and beyond to ensure that my order was properly taken and had a pleasant demeanor the entire time. She needs to teach customer service training because she is top matched. I will continue to shop in this Wylie store thanks to Kimberly's time and attention to a matter others may have ignored. Plesse share this message with her from Bridgette.

Ana is fantastic and explained why my pick-up orders are always delayed or late, so please reward her for her excellent customer service and hard work. This review is for the managers who continue to lower the bar for service while increasing prices. It must be location dependent because I've never had issues with other Kroger locations in DFW or near Houston
This location always delays my pick up, sometimes by hours, or outright cancels them with no communication, even when I select text message updates.
Figure it out. Once is a fluke. 5 or 6 times is a red flag that you have a problem.

Every time I use the pickup app, they always delay the time. I am completely understanding of being short staffed and running behind but I am given the option the select a time for pickup and they call me to tell me they are either canceling my pickup or delaying. I will be switching grocery stores.

I was at the check out and I over heard Kimberly being rude to one of the employees. I over heard her say to the cash register employee. “Next time speak louder.” This made me feel uncomfortable as the customer. I could tell that the employee felt uncomfortable as well. Please treat people like people this was just plain rude. Keep it professional Kroger.
