My daughter went to Summit. We loved in Murphy but the drive was worth it. We always felt like she learned something ever day.

Just called to inquire about care for my son and the lady I spoke with interrupted me and was very rude. Felt like such an inconvenience for her to have to answer the phone.

I cannot recommend Summit Private School enough! My oldest son has been going there for 2 years and my daughter 1 year and through it all we have been amazed at all the ways our children have THRIVED at this school. My 3 year old son can spell his colors, write his name/letters and can count to 50. Even more than that, he chants their daily mantra “I am strong. I am smart. I am blessed. I can do anything” all the time. It is incredible they take the time to instill core values such as this mantra and prayer in my childrens’ lives. In addition my 1 year old daughter knows her colors and sings her ABC’s. I say none of this to brag on my children (although I am so proud of them) but to say how amazed we are at all the ways they have grown and changed while at this school. The owners Robyn and Shannon are there EVERY DAY which is crazy cool to see how involved they are. My children know them and whenever I am at Summit it is obvious it is not just my children they have built a personal relationship with but each and every child they interact with. The teachers are OUTSTANDING and my children talk about them all the time which only speaks further to the impact they have made - Ms. Debbie, Ms. Eta, Ms. Liz, Ms. Amanda - thank you so much for ALL that you do. You ladies are heroes and my babies adore each and every one of you. We are truly so glad we found this hidden gem in Wylie and overjoyed to know our babies are in such good hands.

I have been at this childcare facility for over a year now. I am a teacher here and my daughter attends as well. I've worked at several childcare facilities throughout my 10 years of teaching and I will say HANDS DOWN this is the best place! The Owners/Directors are there every day and are extremely involved in their business. There is a very low turnover rate for teachers; a lot of the teacher have been here 12+ years. The classes are small which alleviates stress on the teachers and allows more one on one attention for each child. My daughter had some reservations with potty training when we first started and every person in this facility went above and beyond to help her overcome her fears. This place has become my family and each person here has a special place in my heart. I hope to continue furthering my career here as well as watch my child grow and flourish here for many years to come!

My son attended this daycare 2 years on and off and I Did not like the vibe I got from them here. At first it wasn't so bad, but it kept getting progressively worst. For starters when you walk in there is almost nobody ever at the front desk, the login computer system for your child always have errors and most of the time did not work. Several times i would bring my child to his class room and be surprised to find a another teachers class room combined with my sons and only one teacher dealing with 20+ children because another teacher was sick or did not show up. This causes the teachers to be stressed out I am sure...I have walked in the door early to pick up my child and heard his assistant teacher yelling at him to stop running around the room. I brought this up to the director. nothing was done. for Breakfast they fed my son a half piece of bread with microwave melted cheese on it. I thought they fed him this because they were out of food, but I was mistaken. when I brought it up to the director she said, "oh yeah Cheesy toast, the kids love it." I would never feed my son that, so I started to bring his breakfast to school. There were 3 instances where I picked my son up and he was walking around with poop in his pants. the most recent incident is the reason I left. I went to pick my son up from school and usually he is in the movie room, but they had him in the time out chair in the kitchen. He was sitting there alone staring at the table. when I went to pick him up he was covered in poop. I asked the teacher mrs.b if she realized he is sitting in his poop and she said she did not know. I brought him to the bathroom to clean him up and he slipped in pee that was all over the floor in there. I let her know there was pee everywhere and she said well he was one of the last kids to go in there, so it was probably his piss and left it at that. My son was sitting in his poop long enough to give him a rash that took 2 days to get rid of. How are you not going to check in on my son and just leave him there like that...A week before we decided to leave we were having a bad experience with one of his teachers. my son was eating dinner and was telling me about his day. He started mimicking his teacher during nap time and said “(child in his classes name) GOT TO SLEEP! (another child in his classes name) LAY DOWN NOW! - I had informed the director of this issue and she said she watches the teachers at nap time and that does not happen. My child repeats what he hears. There is no way he would make this up. I asked the director to see the cameras her response was “oh hunny don’t you know we do not have cameras here."The same teacher would send home an entire page of everything my son did wrong each day. like I understand some of the things on the list need to be corrected but there were things on there like you son was running around the class room or he was playing in the wood chips. soooo my son was being a 3-year-old?!?! Honestly, I was so fed up with them at this point I had to leave. The directors were terrible. it was an awful experience. The only thing good about the place was ms.jo and ms.Stephanie. They always were there for my son and cared for him and loved on him and I appreciate those two ladies for that!

Summit Private School is the most awesome Childcare Center in Wylie. My children and my grandchildren have attended Summit for many years. They are full of so much heart, soul and love of children. It is refreshing to deal with owners/directors that are on site to greet you with a smile everyday. It is a peaceful, happy place for children to learn, it is a home away from home. They also have teachers that have been on staff for 15 to 20 years. If you want the best for your children, it is Summit Private School.

This is hands down the best daycare we could ever have. We switched here because we had a problem with lazy teachers at a previous one. We love that every teacher knows ours and our sons name. You can tell all the employees here at Summit Private School love kids and are not just here for a pay check like some others. I would highly recommend this place to any parents needing a fun and safe place for your child to learn and grow at.

I love this school. My daughter has been going here for almost a year. After some horrible experience we had at another school in Wylie I was so thankful to find such a great place. My daughter loves her school and has learned so much.. I love that summit is a small daycare and all the staff in the school treats you like family. I would recommend this daycare to anybody. They are hands down the best place for childcare in Wylie..

My son can be a little difficult at times. He's been to multiple places that could not fully tend to his needs. Summits been a lifesaver and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Wylie/Lucas area. They genuinely care about your child and aren't doing it for just the money. ?
