Was told the Rx would be ready in 30 min to an hour. Came after 2 hrs and it still wasn’t ready. Called while I was in the parking lot and the guy said they were short staffed. I understand but why were we told a timeframe that was unrealistic? The guy just said I know and just hung up the phone. This is not necessarily the staff’s fault if they are short staffed. Tom Thumb’s management should do better.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this pharmacy!! Rick, Melissa, and Dawn are AWESOME! I have known Rick since he was Albertson's at 544 and McCreary in Wylie. They always have me laughing and smiling even when I am feeling my worst!! Could not ask for a better team!! ??

Visited this Tom Thumb today to pick up a few items. The store was well- organized and the lines were short because they had enough staff to meet the super bowl demand. I had 4 staff members help me find what I was looking for. Each person was kind, stopped what they were doing and helped me throughout the store. I did not get anyones name but two guys were in the meat department. A manager and the girl with beautiful locs at the cashier counter. Each person made the experience great. Thanks everyone!

I ordered a large tray of croissant sandwiches, two trays of vegetables with dip, a fruit bowl and cake for my manager's going away party at the office. When I arrived at the store, which was close to noon, there was only one employee working and I believe she said the other employees were at lunch. She was not aware of the order and did not have the order in the refrigerator. She advised me to go get a manager. As I was approaching the manager's office, I saw a cashier asking me if she could help with anything and I explained to her that I was there to pick my order and that it couldn't be found. At that time, a manager came up to me to assist. Long story short, the manager along with two other employees went to the deli to start preparing the sandwiches. While doing so, the cashier had taken the time to look for the trays throughout the store and found them. All of these employees went above and beyond! When she brought them to me at the deli, the manager said that all of the food would be no cost and I was floored. Not only did all of these excellent employees step in to do the work, they were highly professional and very nice. I would love to thank each and every one of these employees from the bottom of my heart for going above and beyond the call of duty and being so very kind. You have the best employees!!!!!!! This was my first time shopping at this store and I will definitely keep shopping there in the future. Lore Burchette

Not nearly enough people in this store to keep fresh food moving through. No self checkout. Seems like a grocery store lost in time.
