I recently moved to Yoakum from Mexico, so I tend to forget how to speak English sometimes. Today, my uncle sent me to get gas. When I walked into the store, an African American employee greeted me very kindly. I handed him the $20 bill my uncle gave me and paid for the gas.While I was there, I randomly thought about buying a candy bar, but I tripped over myself just thinking about it. When he asked if I wanted a receipt, I suddenly realized… I had been standing there waiting for change that didn’t exist — because I had just used the full $20 for gas 😭.To cover up my awkward mistake, I decided to go ahead and buy the candy bar anyway using the $3 I had in my other pocket. But when he scanned it, I was still short by $0.57. I was so embarrassed that I completely forgot all the English I had learned over the years.AND THIS BRO GOT ME 😭 — he paid the rest from his own money. He was super patient, super kind, and never made me feel bad about it. Service: 12/10. RAISE THAT GUY’S SALARY 😭🙌!

I went in the store to get some water they had plenty of pizza in the hot bar and I didn’t want any at the time…. I was coming back to town and I was hungry so I called the store… answered and didn’t say anything at all so I called back and they answered again and circle k and I said hey I would like to order a pizza….. and he replied we don’t have any more pizza…. What a joke this place has turned into

Give this place a wide berth especially if you enjoy grabbing milk in the morning. They raise their cooler temperature levels dangerously high for perishables at night. I personally confirmed this when being called out to work in the middle of the night. It honestly felt nearly luke warm.
