I got a cup with cheese and pretzels. But when I opened the cheese to take a bite, it had mold all over it. I honestly expected better from this place because usually it's good. The price of my moldy cheese and pretzels was way too high. Thank you for your service.

Restrooms are clean. Staff is friendly. Turkey sandwich big and juicy. Pizza fresh and soft. BBQ slices sandwich real squishy. I'm a texture eater & had to swap with my girls.

You order yourself from a kiosk. It was a bit confusing as I did not know if I was getting double meat or double cheese. The inside is typical gas station diner . Nothing fancy. I got a double cheeseburger with fries, no bun. It was over $15 with a drink. A bit pricey for a burger but let’s see how good it is.The steak fries were a little undercooked and a bit hard in the middle. I have to give the cheeseburger a 5! Very good and juicy with all the condiments including purple onions. It beats the pants off the fast food burgers. It seemed like a pound of hamburger meat.It was a pretty good lunch. If they get those steak fries right and this place is a five.

Day in and day out I work around this area and there’s always people working 24/7 there diesel pumps can use some work but overall it’s ok and there really isn’t another option

The service is excellent at the Texan! They make one of the best pizzas that you can have in the region. Their staff is very courteous and friendly. And they tell you that the pizza will be ready in 15 minutes and it's normally right on the dock. I recommend you go there when you have a desire for good Texan pizza!

What has happened to the Texan it's has gone way down hill I would spend around 60 dollars a week there on my breakfast and lunch there now when I go in the egg are all dried up the kolaches look all shriveled up and the staff are cold to you what happened to that female manager that was there she was so nice I have been forced to drive to cuero to get my drink and breakfast now sad it's like this now.
