Clerk refused to sell me a lottery ticket despite me showing my ID and saying that at 18 I can buy tickets. Not once did she bother to check what the minimum age was and shut the window without saying anything other than "we can't sell to minors"

On the way back to Rio Grande City from Laredo, I stopped for soft drinks and munchies. The store clerk was very attentive and friendly. The store was well stocked with the usual convenience store items. The restroom was clean.
