American Fork Recreation Center

Hours: American Fork Recreation Center is a popular family fitness destination that features a year-round enclosed pool with an air-supported dome. It offers a variety of programs for children, including gymnastics and ninja warrior activities. The center hosts the annual Icebreaker triathlon, which is well-organized and attracts many participants. While some areas may appear a bit dated, the facilities are generally clean and well-staffed, providing an indoor track and ample weight equipment for fitness enthusiasts. Families appreciate the affordable $20 family pass and the relaxed atmosphere of the pool, where kids can enjoy the hot tub. However, visitors are advised to check the schedule for availability of features like the diving board, as it is often closed for lap swimming. While the pool is loved for its fun environment, there are concerns about the cleanliness of locker floors during peak hours, and some swim lessons may not meet expectations. Overall, the center is a great place for fitness and family fun.
