Ammo disappears from this store. The website shows it, store tells you they have it, you can order it online as to not waste your time and have it brought out to you. Some how between the middle of the night and the store being opened all the ammo is purchased. Between your call and walking into the store the shelves become empty. Your order that will be ready for pickup in four hours will get the run around until four days later they seem to be out and cancel your order.

It seems they are understaffed, but the most frustrating part is that their tack was mislabeled. When I got to check-out, I was overcharged on several different items. The team was helpful and corrected the wrongs, but I was the one to catch it. Moral of the story, be diligent about checking prices, sales, and receipts!

Came to get chickens. Most looked great but one batch had pasty butt and bad. I offered to clean them up but they said no. It was just not one or two but many. I felt so bad for those babies. Went to a different store close by and bought my chicks from them.

Purchased a bale of certified timothy hay but they gave me the wrong one and didn't notice till it was too late. Refused to offer any assistance to help me with a resolution for the issue. Told me I was out of luck.

Just a shout out to Rose. My dad had told me if I went and needed any help with buying a gun to ask for her because she knew what she was doing. His confidence in her was not misplaced. She asked questions, explained what I needed, what everything was, gave me suggestions on everything I asked. I felt completely confident that I could trust her recommendations and advice. I’ve always buy my work boots and accessories on here but on saturday the day before christmas i’ve went to buy over 400$ on presents to give to my family members. The lady that check me out was soo rude that made me never goo back again. Cabela earn a new costumer Cause they are very nice no matter what day it is.

Went there to purchase a smoker the friday before Christmas the gal helping us told us she did not have time to help us after driving there for 1.35 hrs.That will be the last purchase at cal ranch for us. Truly disappointed in their customer service.

Bro. Here's what happened. My wife comes in here to buy me a shotgun for my birthday. They tell her it's cool, just put the gun in her name. Who knows what they're telling her when she fills out the forms. They take the gun and put it away after her background check doesn't clear right away. A week goes by and she calls them. It takes twenty minutes to get someone on the phone that knows anything. The person says yes we have the gun still and your background report has not come back yet. They also tell my wife do not call back -we will call you when your background report comes in.Flash forward another week, she calls back again, and they tell her her background report is still not back. Plus, we sold your gun. It's a unique shotgun, hard to find unless you specially order it. What an epic fail. I understand background checks are not their fault, but selling her gun?! After telling her they would hold it for her?!?!Don't buy guns at cal ranch. Go to cabellas or an armory.

The customer service at this store is the worst! You would think least an assistant manager would try to make you feel better about a situation even if you misunderstood, which is not the case with miss sassy disrespectful Kaylin! After explaining I spoke with another employee about a price she was arrogant, very rude, offered no help, and after I said I will not be purchasing the items that I was misinformed about she said byyyeee in thee most ignorant tone. I had other items I was still wanting to purchase, but after the disrespect and the way she told me to leave, I find it hard to ever want to return. Just a recommendation: Choose wisely when promoting to management because Kaylin does NOT qualify in customer service! I am still in disbelief of how poor I was treated at this store.

As a Very Frequent shoppers, I can never checkout without having to tell them I need to give them my phone number to collect reward points. Every time, lately (the last 6-months or so) the cashier Always acts so bothered I even mention it. This is Not Good Customer Service!!
