Went to the Dollar Tree in American Fork had a good experience with the staff. They were very helpful as I was looking for certain items. I came back twice as I had been cleaning and needed to stock up again. They were very friendly and provide me great customer service. Thank you Dollar Tree team!

Came in to return a $5.00 bowl with their price sticker on it. I had no receipt. Employee said I could not get refund, but I could get credit for $5.00 worth of items. I thought, no problem. Spent a couple minutes gathering a few items worth about $5. Then employee asked for a manager. Manager said I could not exchange the bowl for the other items without receipt. I pointed out that the first employee told me otherwise. He said not without receipt.
No problem - I promised them they lost my business forever. And I keep my promises.
Really stupid and incompetent.

Ok I want to start by saying the manager I worked with today was very nice and helped me out so nicely with my return but her supervisor didn’t budge on this other major issue.
3 weeks ago I came to this store and at the front there were some nice items labeled as “new item” like new arrivals. I bought several and was shocked at the register. I didn’t know that anything at the dollar store would be $5! Only one item was actually labeled $5 and it was on the bottom of the basket so very visible. The other item was not labeled it just had a blank red dot sticker where the price normally would be listed.
Today I decided to return that item for a cheaper item I liked better (still $3 which is crazy to me). So I’m expecting to pay $5 or less for 3 of these baskets since I was returning a $5 bin. Well I see that it ends up as $7+ dollars. I’m not always good at math so I just ignored it but as I’m walking out I look at the receipt and see that the bins were rung up at $4 when they all are clearly labeled at $3. I go back in and ask about the discrepancy and the manager tells me that some prices have gone up. I point out that they are clearly labeled as $3 though. I understand prices going up but they didn’t change the label. She tells me to wait while she goes back to ask about it.
She goes into an office and shortly comes back out to tell me that they are $4 and she’s sorry. I could tell she felt bad and she even tried to have a nice little regular conversation with me after.
I’m frustrated that I ended up paying an extra $3 for these baskets when they were supposed to be only $3 to begin with. Any other store honors their labels, it’s your responsibility as a store to fix your labels before you change the prices in your system. I know they do it too because I’ve bought items that have a red sticker with the new price placed over the old one. I would’ve just said no thanks and left the items without buying them but I really like these baskets. ☹️

Called this Dollar Tree after going to 5 other Dollar Tree Stores and still needing more Palm tree light up mugs. Pamela answered the phone on the first ring and found all she had, even checked the back store room, checked to see if they could order more online and messaged other stores for me to have them hold the mugs until I could pick them up. Excellent Customer Service! Thank you Pamela!

I’ve gone here a few times and every time Linda is very unpleasant. I’ve witnessed her making other customers and I wait on numerous occasions. She’s terrible.

I would not go to this dollar tree ever! I paid for my 6 items and walked out and this Latina lady assured me of stealing a balloon that they blew up for me after I paid. I even had my receipt to back it up and she still kept telling me that it wasn’t on the receipt. The other lady working kept apologizing to my husband. If I was dollar tree I would fire the lady working today!

This is the worst dollar store I have ever been to. My baby dropped a ball that she was going to buy and one of the workers made a fuss, accusing my baby of playing with the store's products. The staff is very rude, the cashiers talk on the phone and do not pay attention to customers. I am very disappointed in this store, I am Latina and I have always been respectful of people, the workers in this store were Latino and very rude, a shame.

The younger girl, a relative of the manager is just rude and has a trashy attitude. No need for details, just avoid this location if possible. More than one occasion, they have been unpleasant to deal with.

This location has had a few friendly employees over the past year that I've gone there, but the manager, PAM is so rude, unfriendly, and is so put out to do anything for anyone. Girl- life is hard not that doesn't mean you have to spread such a bad attitude!
I find it funny that Dollar tree has a dress code, but neither she nor other girl (maybe assistant manager in the evenings, or she acts like it) don't follow dress code. Sweat pants and ripped, old worn t shirts are not work appropriate attire. Even at the dollar store. Take some pride in your job. Smile once in awhile. It wouldn't kill you.

I believe it's $1.25 now as opposed to 1 dollar before per item so be aware of that. Other than that it's like most dollar stores. Mainly stuff that isn't worth the sales price of a dollar to make money, but at the convenience of a smaller size generally. Though you can save on some stuff. Alright place to go. Not my favorite and certainly wouldn't recommend it over the selection of a Walmart for example.
