I am so surprised to see reviews about poor treatment of people of color.
Do the people who wrote these reviews even understand that each stylist has their own clients who already have appointments and do not take walk ins?
Perhaps reading the sign on the door that says “ by appointment only” would help!
Maybe the treatment you think you received was more about you just showing up expecting service from people who were already helping other clients, rather than the color of your skin.
I have been coming to this salon for many years and it’s a wonderful place. The stylist do an absolutely amazing job, everyone is super friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful!
Of course I have an appointment and am not expecting them to ignore their current clients to help me so maybe that’s why I had a different experience. Go figure.

Pingo is the best stylist around, don’t look at these other reviews. It says private business on the door. All the stylists are independent and book their own appointments so no need for a receptionist or a phone. The vibe is great and everyone is friends!

I absolutely love this hair salon, the women are amazing! Every time I go, I leave feeling happy, relaxed and beautiful! I’ve been to a lot of salons in this county and this is the only one I leave knowing I got exactly what I wanted cut and color! They never disappoint!Service: Hairstyling

My sweet wife went to all the trouble to find parking and walk in. She stood there until someone (without greeting her) asked if she had an appointment. My wife said no and asked if they could do a wash and style. The lady says "We don't take walk-ins." She did not tell her how she could make an appointment, she did not offer to find a future appointment. Pretty clear they didn't want my wife's business. The lady did very condescendingly say "You're cute" and that was it. So, if you have brown skin, don't bother trying to be a customer here. But if you are white, go ahead and call them up for an appointment... Oh wait, the phone number doesn't work.??♀️??♀️

Just had my hair cut, colored, and styled by Sherry Perry. It was the first time in almost 2 years that I had had anything done to it. It was so dead and an awful color. Sherry brought my hair back to life, she did such a fantastic job and made me feel so much better about myself. I will be going back to her from now on. I will be recommending her to everyone I know. She is phenomenal
