I have had a great experience with everyone at this place. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and best of all: don’t work on commission. This means you may have to pay a little more than what Google will tell you to expect, but also that you don’t have to worry about being told you need 13 repairs when you came in for one. The loaner car they had saved me a pretty penny alone on uber rides while they made sure my car was good to go. I will be back, but hopefully not for a long time!

Easy to work with. They have an awesome website that lets you see what the issue is and how much in alot of detail. They communicated the whole time and it was very affordable.

I feel bad, wish I could remember the name of the guy I talked to at the front desk. He was so helpful! I got a general inspection done and he went through all the results with me. He was very patient and answered my questions thoroughly. I have been having a problem that only shows up once in a while… where the accelerator pedal and my car feels sluggish. After getting the results he explained a couple of things it could be, and encouraged me to take care of general maintenance first, and see if that resolved the problem. I appreciated the extra time and care taken to explain the possibilities of what could be going on.

I called Clegg’s Auto same day hoping to get two different cars inspected before purchasing from a dealership, and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. Not only did they work us in on short notice, but they completed both inspections quickly and still with plenty of time before closing. Their thoroughness was outstanding. They provided detailed reports for each vehicle, and their insights ultimately saved my husband and me from making a very costly mistake—one of the cars had significant issues that we never would have caught without their help. The technicians took their time explaining everything clearly, breaking down which repairs were essential and which would have been unnecessary expenses. Their honesty and professionalism made us feel confident and informed throughout the entire process. Got recommend Clegg Auto from my brother-in law. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Even when another car delayed my car’s diagnostic. While I did not have the recommended repairs done, due to cost, I will absolutely keep them in mind if there are repairs I need that I can’t do at home.

Clegg in American Fork is my go to place for repairs on my vehicles. I have had three of my families vehicles worked on their and they have always been correct and fair!!!! I will keep going back for anything I can't do on my own. They do warranty all of their work without question. I am so happy with them!!!

I had a lovely experience with Clegg Auto here in American fork. I’ve been in a few times for several internal repairs but this time it was a popped tire from road shrapnel, causing an entire snowball effect with my insurance. As you know insurance companies can be a great handful and most auto shops struggle to make things work when it comes to communicating with insurance.
However the lovely people here at Clegg auto in American fork were more than helpful. Trevor, the man overseeing the work on my vehicle was super friendly and generously understanding and took away a lot of anxiety I have when it comes to dealing with Shops. He went above and beyond making sure that I was taken care of and he worked with my various tedious insurance agents to help things get processed asap.
When I think about where I’ll get serviced next it won’t be anywhere other than here at Clegg Auto in American Fork!
