Kensie did my hair and she did a great job. I got it cut and colored (for a great price I would say). She listened to what I wanted and helped give suggests when I wasn’t sure about something. Everyone seemed really friendly there and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good salon.

I was super impressed with Generations and their cute salon! Not only did they wash and cut my hair but also blow dried and styled it for $35! I felt right at home and got exactly what I asked for.

Megan is truly gifted at what she does. She was so aware of my hair needs/ what I needed done. I also appreciated that she knew what was best for my hair and I left feeling beautiful with healthy hair. Will definitely be coming back.

There's nothing terrible to say. It wasn't a bad experience, but there is not a reason for me to go back either. The cut was okay, the wash was lacking, and the style was pretty bad.

Pros -
Speed: Brittany was quick at doing hair
Environment: Salon is super cute, loved the sign at the front of the shop talking about the generations of family doing this.
Cons -
Time/Consideration: We had discussed I could not come any later than noon because I needed to pick up kids from school, and she confirmed that was enough time to do my hair. I showed up 15 minutes early, and she said she was finishing up blow drying/styling a ladies hair and would be right with me. She did not come get me to go back until about 5 minutes til 1pm. This should have been my queue to leave & not follow through with the appointment but I didn't. She did give me a free trim for being an hour late to the appointment, but then asked if she could curl my hair , I said No I don't have time because I need to pick up kids from school. SO she blow dryed it and used a straightener (which she used to curl my hair after I said no to curling it). I told her I need to go (at this point the kids had already been out of school 15 minutes waiting for me to pick them up) and she proceeds to do the after photos, etc. I just left with a feeling of she really couldn't care any less about my time, which was frustrating.
Results: My hair was pretty dry after treatment but I semi-expected that after bleach. I had wanted balayge with dark brown/blonde highlights. My hair looks blonde with Brown roots. She said I could come back for a deep conditioning treatment, and that she offers a 2 week guarantee so if there are any issues I could come back and get it fixed. The blonde is not toned great, has all sorts of different shades, and if you don't part my hair just right or you pull it up you can see the super harsh lines of where it goes from Brown to Blonde. I assumed balayge made it look more natural, not a straight line across with brown above the line and blonde below. My husband says I have a harsh line like this on the back of my head too. For almost $200 (it was a $90 special but my shoulder length hair apparently took 4 extra bowls of color) I was hoping for something that looked better/more professional than me and my teen daughter probably could have accomplished at home.
Guarantee: I reached out to Brittany with my concerns & about getting it fixed, her response was she could talk to someone else at the salon about getting me in as she won't be back there until December, I asked her if it would be at a charge and she said it would be $120-$140 + any additional color. I told her I can just go somewhere else because I thought it would be free with her 2 week "Guarantee", and asked her what color she used for the Brown. She did respond with the color name. So if you're told there is a 2 week guarantee, don't assume it means anything other than come back in and pay again and hopefully someone else will do it better.
I definitely will not be back to this salon, and will not recommend this salon. From the lack of consideration for my time, the results, and the lack of standing behind your work when you say you will I am definitely not impressed. I hate leaving negative reviews, and have put this off for weeks because I wasn't sure I wanted to leave one, but the more I think about the whole situation and every time I look in the mirror and see the lines of brown above/blonde below the line the more I feel I should warn others so hopefully you don't end up in the same situation. I'm unsure of any other stylists here and their work/customer service so I don't want to say all here are the same, but I would not recommend Brittany.
