Extremely easy access off the highway. Breakfast was included and offered typical options. Some highway noise could be heard on the western side of the building, but minimal. If you are traveling and need a quick, clean, affordable place to catch a few hours of sleep, this location is excellent.

My family and I stayed for the weekend and it was a very nice place. The lady at the front desk helped us out and was very sweet. Same with the breakfast girl very attentive and nice. Overall clean and a relaxing stay.

Wife reserved a 2 bed room for my son and I. When we got there, the room had one bed, so, we had to get a second room. The freeway noise was terrible! Too many lights in the room on every switch. Will not stay at this location again!

Nice place, but they put in so many lighted switches that you can't ever make a room go dark. I'm there to sleep but can't darken a room.

Easy location but you will hear the highway. Staff very friendly. Breakfast excellent with variety of choices. Hotel under repairs but very well organized. Great stay and breakfast for the price.

Great hotel just outside Salt Lake perfect spot to stop on a long trip or if you want to be near SLC but not in the middle of all the mess. Right off the highway and easy to get to. Pool and Hot tub all the amenities you would expect and a kind and courteous staff.Rooms: Great rooms what you expect from Holiday Inns. Clean food conditions everything you need and comfortable beds. Plenty of space to spread out with kid and dogs.Food & drinks: Great full warm breakfast. As well as grab and go options. Nothing out of the ordinary but everything was well stocked and in good order.Noteworthy details: Super Dog Friendly allowed to give them a heads up online which is always appreciated. Great open grass space for dogs to get some exercise and relieve themselves and reasonable ways to get there from rooms. Also really great views of the sunset around the mountain range and has a nice patio area that would be great in the summertime.

My experience at the Holiday Inn Express was incredibly horrible. As soon as I arrived, there was no one at the front desk. I waited about 3-5 minutes and finally someone came out. His name was Karo and he looked annoyed that I was there to check in. No greeting, nothing, just asked for my ID. As he was checking me in, he had headphones in, and asked me how many nights I was staying, which was one. He gave me my keys and told me my room number. I asked if I needed to pay and he appeared confused and then charged my card twice! I realized this after getting to my room. Later that night at 11:30pm, I was woken up from my sleep to someone trying to enter my room! Luckily I locked the top lock so no one could enter. I made it known I was in the room and it was the front desk clerk on shift after Karo. He said he had no idea that someone was in this particular room. No one should wake up in the middle of the night thinking someone is trying to break into their room. I packed my belongings and went down to the front desk and spoke to the new clerk on shift and explained that Karo checked me in and Tyler (the new attendant on shift) stated that no one was assigned to that room in the system. I explained he charged me twice and showed him my room keys. Tyler was incredibly apologetic for this incidence. I was given the general manager’s number and will be contacting them for a full refund as I left the hotel at midnight. All of this would’ve been avoided if Karo had done his job correctly.

We enjoyed our stay but unfortunately very disappointed in the breakfast. We arrived for breakfast at 8:45 (open until 9:30). Most items were out of stock and during the time of us eating, only one item was restocked. No gravy, cinnamon rolls, eggs were so old and looked awful, no more juice. We were also sad the pool is closed and our kids were looking forward to swimming. Also, the doors were hard to open (had to swipe card several times). The deadbolt was nearly impossible to lock (husband had to push and lift door for it to lock) and then the door would get stuck shut several times.

Good thing they are in the process of remodeling, really needs it. Common areas are in good shape but room had a lot of issues. Breakfast choices were great and had some changes daily.

This hotel is run down and grungy. The old wallpaper in the bathroom is dirty. The caulking around the toilet and tub is disgusting. The bathtub faucet doesn’t shut off and the more I try, the worse it gets. My heater isn’t working. They had NO coffee at breakfast. I spend about 15 weeks a year in a Holiday Inn. This one is the worst so far this year.
