Their employee who manages the day care reported us to CPS with false allegations which started a two week long process of dealing with the agency. Of course, their investigation turned up no results and was dismissed because nothing was true. Someone like this should NOT be working around children and should be terminated as soon as possible. From what I've heard from their employees she talks about calling CPS on people all the time and has done so on several occasions. I will also be filing official complaints with corporate VASA to ensure the safety of children and other families from facing similar issues due to her actions. Do not go here or leave your children with them as this will be a possible outcome.

the employees that work there are awesome. that is the only good thing about this gym. THEY ARE MONEY GOBLINS. i went to work out yesterday day and nope BEEEEPP BEEEPPPP BEEEEEPPPPP. actually you own us $90 FUCKING DOLLARS.. UM NO I MOST CERTAINLY DO NOT. they are they biggest rip off of a company i have EVERY been with OMG this company makes me so irrationally angry. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT PUTTING YOUR CARD INFO IN THERE. The second you do it 10 a month unless you miss it then it 35 dollars month and then a 60 dollar yearly fee, plusssss your 100 dollar cancellation fee. so i can either pay $117 to cancel my membership. or pay them FUCKING $60 this month alone to continue my membership.

AF Vasa is Terribly run. They keep dropping the best classes and the best instructiors. The bathrooms are rarely stocked with toilet paper and soap. I've gone to other Vasa locations and they are much better. This location needs an overhaul and they need to fire their management.

Sadly the staff is not helpful today as with other visits young men using video chats in the locker room capturing other members in states of undress the arrogant asses. Video chats in the spa, sauna etc. very annoying. Pulse the place is dirty, men use the coed area wearing only their dirty underwear after a sweaty workout, many men and women wear dirty sweat soaked workout cloths and tennis shoes in the steam and sauna I am surprised they don't go naked with only a towel. It is a risk to go there car break-ins etc. things are broken worn out and stinks. I pay for five memberships and I am looking for a better gym.

I got a notification recently about Vasa sending my account to "collections" thus impacting negatively on my credit score. I called Vasa to try and understand why this happened and they admitted that my account was always paid off and they cannot see why the account was sent to collections. Not to mention this apparently took place in 2019. Be careful in setting up an account and make sure to understand their business dealing before signing up.

The front desk people are very chill. Someone wrote on my car window the first week I started here(I parked where it says, "smile you're on camera"). More hours should be available for Sunday why does a gym close at 4? There has been the same hair band in the steam room drain for about 3 weeks, they need to clean routinely.

Avoid any VASA at all cost.. I read these comments before and still made the dumb decision of signing up with them. Unbelievable amount of hidden fees.. i am over $100 in and I've only had an account for 3 months(just to give ya a clue) super unnecessary Billings, they lie about how much it is & take your money out if your account whenever they feel, they don't have a set rate none of my months of been the exact same charge. They changed my home gym location without asking me and now want $25 to change it back .. it's absolutely absurd how unprofessional they are when getting you signed up and how much the neglect to tell you important information. STAY FAR FAR AWAY. Much more worth paying $20 a month for a gym you know will be on your side not just after your money. Totally bummed out on this place really pathetic. Would give it half a star if I could.

Everyone has been so gracious and kind! We are excited to become regular attendees. This is my first ever gym membership. Maddison Smith is my personal trainer and she is amazing! She listens to what I hope to accomplish and then customizes, just for me, what she has me do. I also love having the pool. My husband comes with me and we could not be happier.

After leaving my last gym I decided to join Vasa, mainly because it was the only gym near my house and it’s convenient as I work from home and go to school in Lehi. That and the low monthly cost were a big selling point, specifically the $9.99 base plan. However, what they don’t tell you is that this plan comes with a down payment, so unless you join during some special promotional period you’ll be paying about $90+ to sign up. They then use this as a way to talk you into signing up for the more expensive memberships, as those don’t require a down payment to sign up. All plans also come with a quarterly “Rate Guarantee Fee” of $49.99.The gym itself is decently sized with lots of amenities. It’s a VERY crowded environment, while I won’t fault Vasa for having a successful business, if you’re someone who doesn’t like packed environments, this isn’t the place for you. A lot of the machines are dirty and don’t appear to have been cleaned in a long time. I attached a photo of what that looks like, a good amount of the cardio machines look just like this. After just over a month I was able to get added to a family member’s gym plan, so I no longer needed a vasa membership. I was expecting some sort of cancellation fee, but the process to cancel was less than convenient. I went to the front desk to cancel in person, and the gentleman who worked there(super nice guy) let me know I needed to call account services to cancel. I called the number the following morning, and it transfers you to a 3rd party billing agency who is contracted by vasa. The wait times to get a hold of someone were long and required me to call back the next day and give them my number to hold my spot in the queue. If you’re just looking for a quick workout and don’t mind any of the stuff listed above, then this is a good pick for a gym. Otherwise, I would not recommend it.

We had called 6 months ago and thought everything was cancelled successfully. But then a week ago we got a notification that they were sending us to collections. I called and spoke with a super rude agent that said she was the supervisor. She was no help and wouldn't honor the original cancellation even though she saw we engaged with them asking about the cancellation. Super sketchy and not transparent in the pricing/cancellation fees. We had to pay over $100 to pay for 6 months we didn't use plus the annual fee just to cancel the account and avoid collections.

Great gym with an awesome staff and plenty of equipment. I’d give it 5 stars if it weren’t for the fact that Fox News is constantly playing in the locker rooms. For a gym that claims to be LGBTQ+ friendly they sure know how to make you feel unwelcome.

Vasa gets a lot of hate but it really isn't bad. The worst is just the overcrowding and trying to figure out a time in my busy schedule I can come when there's less people. But hey it's a popular public gym I think that's just how it is. Everyone there that's working out has been nice and friendly which is a huge plus to me. One downside is sometimes they try to push getting you a trainer which I get they're sales people at heart but having to say no 3 times puts me off a bit. Like I'll walk in with the headphones on so I can skip that.

The facilities and instructors are very nice.I'm taking three stars for three reasons:1. The instructors and trainers hours are not respected well in VASA policies and they could really be paid a little better.2. The sound volume in classes surpasses the limit for permanent hearing damage by a few hundred decibels, and VASA has *no* monitor for it. Even with earplugs, I walk out of the classes with my ears and head hurting and so do many of the other attendees.3. The childcare facilities are also so rarely available it's hard for me to use the membership I have/pay for. Some moms can't make it at all if there aren't enough open slots, and the morning childcare is just understaffed.

Worst gym ever The monthly fees are a lie. They charge different amounts than what they tell you. They charge you $150 to open an account which is outrageous. Then they tell you it's $10 a month, when it's actually more like $15. And they charge you $50 a year "to keep your account active" because paying every month doesn't mean your active. They also charge you a $25 cancelation few. The support desk is a joke too, so good luck with them. Worst customer service I've ever received. So it's $215 for your first month ?, and that's just for the basic membership, which means you can only go to 1 vasa.
