Absolutely amazing stay at Gooseberry Lodges! We booked super last-minute for Labor Day weekend as a quick Zion getaway with our dogs, and it couldn’t have been better. The cabins were cozy and spotless, and the communal bathrooms/showers blew me away—they were unbelievably clean. (I usually stick with Marriotts, so I was skeptical at first, but honestly, these were just as good if not better.)
Each cabin has its own fire pit, and the front office has everything you could possibly need—s’mores kits, firewood, fire starters, skewers, and tons of snacks. The dogs loved it, we loved it, and the night sky was the cherry on top. The stars were unreal—so clear and bright.
Best part? It’s only about 25–30 minutes outside of Zion, so you get the convenience without the chaos.

I had stayed here for a week while visiting zion national park. Very affordable and very friendly staff!
They have a couple of recreational pads for kids and adults to play on, they also sell some supplies as well as firewood/charcoal for the fire pit/grill each cabin has.
Loved my stay!

All the reviews are spot on, the service here is really great and I could not recommend this place more. The woman working the office the evening I arrived (quite late) Was just fantastic and welcoming.
I do think I might stay here again someday!

My fiance, friend, and I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Zion National Park for our first time. This place was great. First off, the check-in process was smooth and easy, and the host we encountered was very friendly and let us know she was available if we had any questions/needed anything during our stay. Always had a smile on her face and I wish I would have asked her name! The location is a bit more desolate, so their offices offering snacks and drinks (it's an honor system after hours, please don't spoil it for other guests), firewood, cooking utensils, etc. is really a life-saver. The room I booked was the deluxe king lodge, and it had more amenities than I expected for the size and price. The fridge was a decent size and had adequate freezer space, as well. Microwave, AC, fast wi-fi, Keurig (extra coffee flavors and sugar/creamers are available in the office), and an electric cooktop were also available in the room. Our outdoor space included tables, patio chairs, a hammock, and our fire pit. There were even skewers for s'mores, come on! The property had a good-sized play area for kids, a community fire pit with seating, a pickleball court, and a mini golf area, which I wanted to try but never got the opportunity. Our drive to Zion took about 35 minutes, but we did leave quite early both mornings. I recommend booking at Gooseberry Lodges. It's obvious their goal is to provide a great experience to their guests and their preparedness is obvious. Thank you to the team at Gooseberry from your satisfied guests in Arizona!

Stayed in the cabins while seeing Zion and was great space and clean and comfortable. Traveling with my dog, but it was spacious enough for me and her and good location from Zion not too bad of a drive and easy to get to. Good amenities from laundry, fire pits, putt putt and clean bathrooms and showers. Glad I found this place and will definitely stay again when visiting Zion, it's worth it!

We absolutely loved our stay at Gooseberry Lodges! Just a scenic 40-minute drive from Zion National Park, this spot was not only convenient but also one of the highlights of our 2.5-week trip through Utah, Arizona, and Nevada.
The property is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully designed. Each cabin comes with its own hammock, grill, fire pit, and all the essentials—charcoal, lighter fluid, firewood, and even s’mores kits. We stayed in a cabin with a loft, which was the perfect size for our family of four, including two teenage daughters. The Wi-Fi met their high standards (a win for any parent!).
We also loved the extra amenities: a playground, cornhole, pickleball court, and mini golf made for fun downtime on property. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and it’s exciting to see they’re expanding to include a pool, hot tub, and cabana.
Out of all the places we stayed, this was hands-down our favorite. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone looking for a peaceful, fun, and comfortable base near Zion.

This place is a fantastic little gem. The cabins are cute with plenty of space while allowing sleeping for a good number of people. Everything is clean, well maintained, and well stocked. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the office with items for sale at reasonable prices was a great plus. it was about a 40 minute drive to Zion national park and about two hours to the Grand Canyon, which were two of our destinations so it was a good middle spot. The property itself isn’t huge, but they’ve used a space well with the playground grassy area, tennis court mini golf putting area and nice porch area on each cabin with a grill, fire pit, hammock, chairs, roasting sticks, easy parking, etc. We would absolutely love to come back here and I’ve already reached out to some family members about maybe doing a group visit. The Wi-Fi worked great, the electronic keypad to come in and out was convenient and we have nothing but good things to say about our stay here. Thank you gooseberry lodges. You have done a great job!

The cabins were small but very nice and the price was great. We had one of the smaller units, but it still had two nice big bunk beds, a fridge, and a nice patio with a great view out front. Lots of leisure activities provided by the site as well, miniature golf, pickleball and more. About a half hour drive from Zion.

Stayed at Gooseberry Lodges for four nights, and loved it here!
Staff are friendly and accommodating. One even helped me build a fire when I told her I’ve never started one before (I didn’t get your name, but if you’re reading this, thank you again for your help! 😊)
The lodges have lots of recreative amenities such as playgrounds and fire pits. The cabins are cozy and have A/C and heating for those hot days and cold nights. Checkout is a breeze - you can just pack up and go when it’s your checkout time. If you’re here for Zion, it’s a reasonable drive away.
Would stay here again whenever I’m in Utah again. :)

This was such a wonderful and quick vacation away from home! The place is super dog-friendly, and it’s almost like a hotel depending on the room you get. We stayed in the Deluxe King room. I loved that they have a park, a grill (either propane or charcoal), firewood, and a small general store that’s open 24/7. While we did have a shower and bathroom, we also checked out the ones there, and they were nice. The hot water was wonderful too! Amanda, thank you so much for the amazing stay and for being so kind to us! We hope to be back next year, especially when the pool is finished and we can bring a bigger group with us! Oh and they have WIFI if you can’t disconnect since service is spotty!
