We reserved a room through expedia with a pay at the property option, but canceled the reservation shortly after because we ended up staying with a friend in beaver, we were still charged by the hotel as a no show, I had called the hotel couldn't hardly understand the guy in the phone, I told him we were charged for the room that we canceled, he asked what was out room number??I said we didn't have a room the reservation was canceled, he said I had to call expedia for a refund, so I did, then expedia days it was the hotel that charged us as a no show... which our credit card does show the hotel. So between the hotel and expedia we are out money, thanks a lot, we'll be staying in the other side of the freeway on our next trip.

I stayed at a lot of Motel 6 is around when driving across the country, So I know what to expect- This one, however, was top-notch BAD. My husband and I didn’t get a wink of sleep-Feeling very uncomfortable, and not safe.We did reserve a non-smoking room and it smelled like someone has been smoking in there only moments before- It was pretty atrocious. The pool area is closed off and dark. I heard that was violations and it’s slightly terrifying space to have to walk past to get to the parking lot. Then you proceeded to walk out the Side door to the parking lot and that door does not lock-Which makes you feel a bit nervous because the whole back of the building is dark.We also had an issue with putting the address into Google And being able to find the location, it took us to somewhere completely different, We finally figured it out, and when I brought it up to the guy at the front desk when we arrived, he said “yeah that happens”….I’m slightly shocked. This place continues to stay open, especially after reading all the other reviews. Spend the extra $40 and get some sleep somewhere else.

This hotel is disgusting and not maintained at all. The entire pool area is LITERALLY CLOSED DOWN BY THE UTAH DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH! We only stayed because we would have lost our money if we hadn’t. There was mold on the walls in our room, the carpet left my feet black, and none of the tile was cleaned. At 2 am we had to let the dogs out and when we tried to get back into our room, the key stopped working. I would rather sleep in my car on the side of the freeway then ever stay here again.Rooms: Absolutely filthy and gross. Mold on the walls, showers and carpet, splatters of some type of fluid across the walls, and the carpet has never been cleaned. Do not stay here.Safety: The parking lot was covered in glass, there was no where for the dogs to go, and none of the outside doors locked.

I'd like to begin by expressing my long-standing positive experiences at this hotel during my frequent fishing trips to Utah with friends. However, during this recent stay, I encountered a significant issue at the front desk that marred our trip. Regrettably, the front desk personnel we interacted with exhibited extreme rudeness, lacked proper information, and seemed inadequately trained for their role.To provide context, my room had been reserved under my name and prepaid by my son as a thoughtful birthday gift, using his credit card. Unfortunately, the individual we encountered at the front desk insisted that only I could make payments for my room. This led to the cancellation of our previously paid reservation, which was in my son's name, and the unexpected charge to my personal credit card that I had provided for incidentals during check-in.Furthermore, two of my friends, who hadn't made prior reservations, sought to book rooms for a two-day stay. Astonishingly, the front desk personnel claimed that in-person reservations could only be made after 2 PM, a rule we were unfamiliar with. When we returned after 2 PM, we were informed that all available rooms had been booked, leaving us in a difficult situation.Regrettably, I couldn't identify the front desk staff member, as he was not wearing a name tag. However, I can describe him as a white male in his 50s. This unfortunate encounter sharply contrasts with the many positive experiences I've enjoyed at this hotel in the past.

Booked a non-smoking room 2 weeks ago and the room we get is saturated with smoke smell. The family next door is having the same issue and the man at the front desk just keeps insisting that this motel has no smoking rooms. He refuses to accept that someone(s) smoked in these rooms. Even though the no smoking sign has been removed from both of these doors. We would just leave but every place in town is completely booked.

The room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Unless that's just us being road exhausted, but had a good night's rest. Great counter and table space to set up our luggage. The shower was passable. Clean room ? What we did not like: the pool had clearly been shut down due to violating a health code (false advertising). We picked this motel specifically for the pool. The front desk clerk was surly and acted like we were getting on her nerves. Plus, the other entrance would not latch and close at all. Making security an issue.

The location, price, and pet friendly feature were the reasons we booked here. I had to ring the buzzer 3 times to get a desk clerk. She was not very friendly. Rooms are definitely in need of work, and the room had an odd odor. Constant LOUD noise in the hallway was a HUGE negative. Back entrance door was not secure for customer only entry. Pool was gross and disgusting. Not a great place....you get what you pay for!

I booked online thru hotels.com for $49.12. Rude and unfriendly female clerk told me in person that it was $71. Also told me the jacuzzi in the room was not working. I do not recommend this place. I told her to cancel, and I walked out. I did get a notice from hotels.com that it was cancelled.

It was a long night. We ended up staying here because our car broke down in Beaver. The front desk person was not very friendly. The room was clean though. The place is run down quite a bit. The pool has been shut down by the health department. Whoever was above us was doing work in the middle of the night, including dropping things on the floor.Rooms: Fairly clean. Pillows are flat. One pillowcase has stains on it.The light above the sink flickers like a scene in a scary thriller movie.Safety: The door at the end of the hall does not latch. Anyone can enter the hotel at any time. Keep your room door latched.Walkability: There are a few fast food places nearby. That's it. Not a walkable location to anything.Food & drinks: Free coffee. Expensive vending machine with candy. That's all.Noteworthy details: Dogs stay free. That was beneficial for us.

Don't stay here. I've slept better on a barracks mattress and my husband slept better in jail. I am super sore and in a significant amount of pain. The room smells like puke and the outlets were covered up. The AC didn't work and the pool was closed.

Not the worst place but not the best! The receptionist was actually very friendly and they allow dogs with no pet fee. They also have truck parking which is a plus since I drive a truck. The room had basic amenities. It was clean, although there were a couple stains on the bed sheets, but the linen smelled fresh and clean. It was pretty quite, not a lot of noise. It is also very budget friendly. I would stay here again when on a budget and in Beaver, UT!!

****DO NOT STAY HERE****We checked into a dirty room. Nothing had been cleaned and it smelled awful. The Sheets hadn't been washed and trash scattered around the floor. The front desk person was totally unsympathetic and didn't offer to get us a new room or help accommodate us in any way... we left and stayed at the Comfort Inn.

I hope people read this before booking ( wish I had). When bouncing through the holes in parking lot to check in was not good. When I got to checking in the person checking me in stopped to answer the phone and waited on the phone while I stood waiting. In going to the room the outside door was propped open. Nice security. Our room was close to the pool, to bad it looked like it hasn't been in use for a long time. The website didn't say it wasn't working. The room had a weird smell, the filter in the air was dirty. The small refrigerator almost tipped over when I opened the door. There was one small bar of soap, no shampoo, coffee, or conditioner. We walked out and was lucky enough to get a room somewhere else in spite of a baseball tournament in town. Book somewhere else!Noteworthy details: Beware

The bed was broken and sagging on my side so I slept in a hole. It was also so hard my arms kept falling asleep so I was constantly trying to roll all night long. Got no sleep and my back hurt the next morning. Pillows were stained with makeup, toilet paper was so thin it left pieces stuck to me, there was no shampoo or conditioner. The entire place was just dirty and dingy; very run down and not maintained. The pool was drained and not functional. I've stayed at this hotel three times because it's pet friendly, but we will never stay here again!

Stay as far away from this hotel as possibleI used to work here I have a few horror storiesManagement doesn't care about anything other than sucking your wallet dry for disgusting rooms and underpaying employees. Products used for cleaning are not sanitary whatsoever.
