About Deer Creek Campground
Deer Creek Campground is a nice little camping spot located on the accessible Burr Trail in Grand Staircase Escalante. It has seven small sites with nice raised tent pads, ample fire pits, and tables. The red sandy surface is surrounded by buckthorn, willows, wild roses, and big cottonwood trees offering shade. It is a very steep location along the stream, which is pleasant and shady in summer. There is a stony creek access up the road good for wading. The vault toilet was noted as very full and not clean. Due to the creek, there can be a fair amount of mosquitoes. Sites cost $10 per night.

Nice little camping spot. We enjoyed 2 nights here while adventuring during the days. The only reason not 5 stars, the vault toilet was very full and not clean.

Great convenient campground off the Burr trail. The sites were clean and the pit toilet was what was to be expected.

7 spaces. One other was occupied. Not much to this campground but nice nonetheless.Restrooms: Has one. In fine condition.
