I had a great experience here. Matt was professional, honest, and transparent throughout the whole process. I would do business here again.

Came in today to look at a car for my girlfriend, he was very honest and upfront about everything including damages that may need future repair, he even went above and beyond to get a safety inspection that’s not even required but does to make his customers feel safer about the purchase highly recommend

Bought a nice little 2003 red Honda Civic here. The owner was transparent and up front. Plus he held onto the car for me, so I could be the one to buy it. Had a good experience.

We purchased a car for my son and Franklyn did a great job answering all of our questions and helping us make an informed decision. He was attentive and patient, even staying past his shift to ensure that we had a positive car buying experience. Thanks, Franklyn!

I know this place has mixed reviews but they were kind enough to let me make a deposit and hold the car until I could pay the rest and take it home they maintained a more local small buisness feel there was zero pressure to buy a car which was also fantastic. Thanks guys my wife loves the new used car!

One star because they didn't even make an effort. I sent in a lead on a vehicle I was interested in buying with every single bit of info they would need from me. Been a week and no answer. That's incredibly unprofessional and I'm definitely taking my business elsewhere.

We bought a 2003 Toyota 4Runner from them about a month ago. After driving it for about 50 miles it started to have a weird electrical issue. The symptoms were identical to an alternator failing and no longer charging the battery, but the battery light on the dash was not illuminated. Which is how a car tells you the alternator is no longer charging. So I limped it home and did a bulb check. Which is when your car is off and you turn it into accessories mode without starting the engine. All of your dash warning lights will light up. This is so that technicians can see if a bulb is burned out. Guess which light didn't come on? The BATTERY light. So now I'm thinking we have an alternator failing and a burned out battery warning indicator bulb. So I remove the gauge cluster to replace the bulb. Well the bulb wasn't bad. Someone had accessed it and put A BLACK PIECE OF ELECTRICAL TAPE over the battery light so you couldn't see it lighting up! I called Affordable Auto Sales and was very polite. I told them the situation and didn't point any fingers. The car has 216K miles on it. Parts are going to fail, that is expected. I asked if they were aware or had experienced any charging issues with the vehicle while they had it. Surprise surprise, they tell me the alternator was replaced on it prior to us purchasing it. I asked if I could get the contact information for the shop that did the work. I worked in a Toyota dealership service department for 8 years. I know Toyota's all too well. I'm not a guy who can't change a flat tire. They tell me they don't remember who replaced the alternator and will have to try and figure it out and get back to me. Did they ever call me back? Of course not. So I do not know who was the shady one that installed the tape. Was it Affordable Auto Sales or the sketchy shop they "don't remember"? I think the saddest thing about it all is that I was never once rude, and never once expected them to fix it or pointed fingers. All I wanted was the shop's info to get more information on how they diagnosed the alternator to be the problem, and if they saw any other issues during the replacement. Now I'm stuck trying to diagnose the issue by myself, when the only reason I bought this vehicle is because it was a one owner and well maintained. I never imagined 50 miles later it would be stranded in my driveway with an electrical issue they tried to hide. If Matt or his father at Affordable Auto Sales see this and try to contact me, don't waste your time. I've accepted that it is now my own problem to deal with, even though it shouldn't be. I'll be sure to tell everyone I know to avoid these guys. And with that you guys just lost A LOT of potential sales. Adios.

DISHONEST. They cleared a check engine code on the car I bought. I didn't find out until the next day when it came on. When I hooked a scanner to it it had shown that the code had been thrown and deleted three times prior. Yeah you idiots of affordable auto it shows that on newer scanners... The only reason I didn't call is because I figured it would be easier for me to fix than be given the go around like all you small town "honest" dealerships tend to do. Just don't lie it's not that hard.

I’ve seen others say that this place doesn’t really care to sell vehicles. I can see why. Drove to Bountiful from south salt lake to see a car and nobody is here. Mid day... they have a number to call but it rings at the office, so a employee has to be at the dealership to answer? Why even be in business if you’re loaded enough to hardly be at work and not motivated to sell cars? Don’t respond saying you’re having a issue with the phones like you did the last guy. You’re lazy and have terrible business ethics. Luckily, we went a block to the north and found a better vehicle for a better price and that dealership actually had someone there during normal business hours on a week day. Go figure....

Just bought a car here and had a great experience. Their service was amazing and salesmen were not pushy. Would definitely buy from them again. Matt went above and beyond to make sure that the car we bought was in great shape.

Dealers like this give car salesman a bad reputation. When I finally got a hold of someone it was a total waste of time. Priced over book value by almost 1k, lumpy tires, extensive suspension wear, inop ac, broken driver seat rail, inop driver door lock. Worst part is the salesman, Matt, tried to bs me saying none of that was an issue. When he realized I was a mechanic and former salesman it was to late to back peddle. Honestly save your money and go elsewhere. These guys sell cars that are on the way to or came from the auction. They are not straight forward and I would never do business with a place like this. If you have cash go to a private seller. I flew to Vegas the same day and got a better deal on a nicer car.
