This place is a complete scam. I was explicitly told that payday loans here were not based on credit, yet when it came time for a decision, they pulled my credit anyway — only to come back with an insulting, useless offer. That’s not just misleading, it’s outright dishonest.
On top of that, the woman at the front desk (short brown hair in a ponytail, glasses) was unbelievably rude, unprofessional, and completely incompetent. If this is the standard of service they think is acceptable, it’s pathetic.
Save yourself the headache — this company lies to customers, wastes your time, and clearly has no respect for the people they’re supposed to be helping. Go anywhere else before you let them treat you the same way.

Went to cash a check there and it took one hour to even get a result on how to cash it. Then I only got a partial of the money and I have to come back to get the rest in a week. Plus I paid them back the money I owe and they took almost $600 to cast the check

This place is a life truesaver. 6 days from payday its a rainy day with no rainy day fund. They had my back with few questions and were handing me money very quickly. The staff is super helpful and even when they have system glitches were sending me on my way. Faster than I ever thought I would.

Ricardo is the best, I called before going there and everything he said on the phone is exactly what I had in the office. He was very professional, very helpful, offered me a service that I did not know they do there which I'm glad because it has saved me so much time that day. I will definitely go back.

One bad apple should never spoiled a pie.. Even though I had a incredible horrible experience and inter action wilh a teller at a Branch after speaking with the General Manager for Northern Utah everything was handled in a professional Respectful and friendly manner..as I have always been treated in the pass.. so amazing.. so appreciate the people that work there so much ..

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here I had a check that needed to be cashed and I didn’t want to wait for it to clear over the weekend. I got there at 7:50 and they close at 8 the gentleman stayed till about 8:15 to get me my funds and he was super nice. Thanks Check City for all your help.
