Like others have said, I waited for hours getting 4 tires and they were not mounting them. Alex and Hector severely dropped the ball on customer service. Would not recommend

Sorry I bought tires here. If you get a flat they won't fix it unless you get an appointment which is booked weeks out. They expect you to just not have a car for a couple of weeks. And with an appointment it was still four hours to get a set of tires which I had ordered online a month earlier. ANY tire shop in Utah is going to treat you better than Costco! There's a hundred workers on any given day at Costco on the floor, registers, and break room and they staff like 3 people in the tire shop.

They’re always behind. Always understaffed. Takes forever to even drop off a vehicle then twice as long as you’d expect to get it back. Appointments are basically useless. Sad excuse for Costco service.

2.5hrs to swap out tires with a preexisting appointment is unacceptable. At one point my truck was the only one in the bay. This service should have taken an hour or so.
Major inconvenience that made us miss other obligations.

I bought 4 tires and had to wait about a week for them to be shipped to the store. I had an appointment to get them installed. I showed up to the appointment and had to wait in line for about 25 minutes to even drop the car off. When I got up to the counter I was told that the tires had not arrived. They suggested that I could wait in the store all day for them to arrive. Otherwise, I would lose my appointment that day. I politely declined and asked if they could install them the next day or over the weekend. I was told that they couldn’t get me in for 5-6 days, maybe a week or so.
I’ve always associated Costco with good customer service, but this is my first and last time buying tires from them. I called Discount Tire and was able to get my tires replaced same day, same tires, same price.
Maybe some people can put up with the lengthy wait and total lack of customer service, but I’ll never be back to buy tires. Discount Tire was superior in every possible way.

It’s not worth the hundred dollars or so you save from purchasing through discount tire or elsewhere. They are always backed up, and never come anywhere close to their timeline. My wife and two kids are stuck at this location waiting for our truck’s tires to be balanced. They said an hour and 15 min, she’s been there for 2.5 hours now. Kids are loosing it, groceries in her cart are melting.
Get your employees some addition help!
We will be going back to discount tire or the dealer next time.
They did the same thing to us when we purchased the. Took about an hour and half longer than they stated.
Both times, we had an appointment, unreal.

Went in Thursday for a rotation and balance, told me I needed new tires. Ordered me tires, made me a tire appt to put them on for the following Wednesday. Came in today on Wednesday, waited an hour and a half, then went up and asked what was going on. Turns out nothing had been going on, they didn’t know where my tires were, after looking for an additional 10 min I find out my tires hadn’t even come in yet. So I spent almost 2 hours at Costco pregnant with two small children for nothing. I even got yelled at by the supervisor because he was having a panic attack about me asking what they had been doing with my car. The worst experience I’ve ever had at any Costco in my life.

The costumer service is poor to say the least the lady boss running the place seems to not like her job. Oh and they won’t install and balance tire if rim is not OEM or you buy one of there rims or v locks for the rims basically they don’t wannabe liable for anything plus they can get a extea penny off you. Never again

I wonder how you can have a great customer service (Costco) in the same spot with such an unprofessional staff
They won't give a proper estimate for the work and they treated me as a nuisance for asking when the car would be ready

Tire rotation, booked via phone. Asked technician: how long will it take? 1h to 1h and half. Perfect! The reality: 2h30 m
It appears that they are constantly understaffed and incapable of giving reliable estimate timing on their job.
Being incapable of giving an approximate timing sounds to me like they don’t precisely know what they’re doing. Costco 5 ⭐️
Tire center: 1 ⭐️

We bought our house early in 2020. As a way to furnish a nice eating area, we purchased a six-seat dining table from Costco a few months later. Fast forward to October 2023, over three years later. My boss gifted us an eight-seat dining table and seeing how our family was growing, we saw this as a good upgrade. We decided since we were gifted a table that we would pay-it-forward and gift our table to someone who needed or wanted it. Through word-of-mouth, we found a taker. The table was taken from our house on Thanksgiving, November 23, for the new people to enjoy. On November 24, the table was subsequently returned to Costco for a refund, unbeknownst to us. We received a letter in the mail from Costco on November 30, notifying us of the return on OUR Costco membership card and as a result, our hard-earned rewards were deducted from our account. The individuals who made the return, ended up getting the refund, over $800, on a Costco merchandise card. I am trying to understand why, since we no longer owned the table, it was returned to our account, punishing us for a prior purchase that we didn't even return or get any compensation from? My husband, the account holder, wasn't even present for this transaction to his account. This would enable anyone who receives a gift over $100 to return it to Costco, get a merchandise card from this gift, and punish the gift-giver for something thoughtful. I am very upset and disappointed in Costco. This is wrong and makes me reevaluate where I buy any gifts for anyone, knowing that I could possibly pay for my generosity.

First come "flat repair" for a TPMS unit broken from installing new tires last week took over 2 hours. At least they waved the install fee, would have had a fit otherwise.
