They had me in and out in a day which I appreciated, but had to call me back to ask for additional payment because Jeremy typed in the numbers wrong. It ended up being more than I was quoted on the phone. Still seemed like a reasonable price, but just rubbed me the wrong way that they asked me to pay more. Won’t be coming back, but their work was adequate.

I had Rays work on my new to me 2010 Honda odyssey. Got the timing belt done and a good tune up. Very happy with their service. Rays was able to tell me what day would be good to bring it in and they had it done in a couple of days. They answered all my questions and were great at keeping me posted on any changes that came up like finding my motor mount was bad. I will likely return for future automotive needs.

Fantasic experience here last week! They saved me 700$ on my exhaust repairs compared to the rip off Murdock Hyundai of Murray dealership initial quote price for drivers side flex pipe exhaust system repairs. Jeremy was the front desk mechanic who helped me and was very considerate and informational. I can't remember the mechanics name who worked on the vehicle, possibly Tyler? Both outstanding gentlemen, super reasonably priced and fast service. 👍 👍 👍

I had my car (Honda CRV) diagnosed, and they told me the problem was the starter. After a week, the same issue with the starter happened again. I asked them if they could fix it, but they started asking so many questions just to find a loophole to justify that the problem wasn’t the starter anymore. One of them (I won’t mention his name, lol) even said that as long as it’s cranking, then it’s not the starter. I already paid $585 for the diagnosis and labor, excluding the parts. I even asked for the part they replaced, but they said they don’t have it anymore—that they gave it to the people who repair broken ones. Maybe they gave me a refurbished part if that’s what they usually do. They’re easy to talk to at first actually, but if you know other mechanics around Bountiful or Woods Cross that fixes Starter, maybe consider trying them instead.

I had my catalytic converter repaired. Shortly after the error code came back on. They determined the one they installed was faulty. Rare but it happens. They warrantied their work and replaced it again free of charge. Finding an honest shop that backs their work is priceless.

I just had my first experience at Ray’s Muffler Service, and I have to say, it has been a long time since I have experienced such poor customer service. Definitely go here if you want to deal with arrogant technicians who will cut you off mid sentence and act like what you are wanting to do with your car is common sense and you should have known better than to come waste your time at their business. Or if you want to be unsure about where to park because it isn’t very clear. I’m grateful I didn’t end up needing to pay for anything at their shop today.

Excellent, honest service in a timely manner. We've dropped several of our vehicles off with Ray's and they've been extremely helpful in getting us back up and running. Most recently, they fixed the flex pipe on my F150 in less than two hours. I don't expect that sort of turnaround every time, and with more extensive work I'm happy to leave our vehicles with Ray's as long as needed because I know they'll do a great job.

I went there after work, they were so rude I just wanted my car looked at to find out what was wrong with my exhaust. All he would tell me is that they were too busy afternoons and if I dropped it off at 7am in the morning they would not have enough time to have me go to work by 9. I took it to Master Auto Tech they diagnosed it and fixed it within 2 hours.
