My husband and I bought a new to us Range Rover from Performance. Tyler McCarter was great to work with and made the process quick and easy. My only complaint is that the detail team didn't do a great job. We lifted up the spare tire cover (inside the car) to find it packed with pine needles.

I came in on a Saturday. I worked with a salesman for 3 hours to find what I was looking for. After doing so I was told to stand by and wait for financing. After waiting for 2 hours someone finally asked if I needed help and I was then told that finance had been free for a while and they thought that I had been informed that the vehicle I had made a deal on was already sold. After this I left. Upon leaving I received a text from the salesman stating they had found a similar vehicle in the area and that I could come back in to make the deal so I did. Because the car wouldn’t be on the lot for at least a month, but I had to sell my car quickly (just moved here from out of state and couldn’t pass the emissions requirement) they prepared to get me a rental car. Upon returning to the dealership to pickup the rental car I was told that they were not able to trade my old car in. Me being confused I asked them what I was supposed to do with my trade in (I only have 1 car spot at my apartment complex) I was told that I was very ungrateful for the “deal” they were giving me and it’s not their job to cater to everything I need. I had no idea what to say at that point. I had stood by at the dealership for over 2 hours the first time I was there and almost an hour the second time (picking up the rental car and waiting for finance to trade in my old car) quietly without complaining to anyone. I like to think of myself as an easy going person but the treatment I received from this dealership was awful. I don’t like to leave bad reviews as I know everyone is busy and is trying to do their jobs but this treatment was above and beyond unreasonable. There were other little things that I won’t go into detail on (car salesman disappearing for long stints, the manager watching all this unfold and saying nothing). When I went to another Toyota dealership and explained the entire story he said “that dealership is our best referral service”. So if you come here and feel like something’s off I highly recommend you get out now.

Stan and Enrique are awesome to work with in the buying process - they listen to the customer and their needs to make sure the end product matches. Will definitely be a buyer in the future - as well we have serviced our cars with Performance Toyota, and they do amazing work.

On 09/03/24, I scheduled an appointment for my 2014 Toyota Limited for a sunroof stuck open (up position).
My appointment was at 12:00pm. I arrived at Performance in Bountiful at approximately 11:45am and spoke with one of an advisors (can’t remember the name). I explained what was wrong with the sunroof.
The advisor told me I won’t know until the technician can diagnose my car at least until after 2pm or 3pm.
Approximately, 3:45pm, I approached that advisor asking for an update. The advisor told me the ECU was bad.
I requested a quote for the ECU.
A short time later, I received a video from a technician saying my sunroof motor was bad.
I then requested a quote for the bad motor.
The advisor said he would have to order parts and I need to make an appointment before the parts arrived.
I told him I would let him know if I decide to fix the sunroof because the parts were expensive.
Because it was raining that day, I did not want the rain come inside through the sunroof, I asked the advisor to do what he can to manually close the sunroof.
He said he would do what he could to get the sunroof closed before 6:00pm, closing time.
At approximately 5:30pm, the advisor approached me and said the technician was unable to close the sunroof. He said the cables or the tracks were jammed he couldn’t move it either direction.
I requested a quote for the cable. The advisor said it is best to replace the cables, the motor and other components of the sunroof for it to work properly.
The advisor gave me a quote for the whole new sunroof assembly, it was quite a lot of money.
The rain stopped, I paid $189+tax for the diagnostics and I drove my car home.
That evening, I spent time looking online looking at YouTube.
The next morning, 09/04/24 I took the sunroof motor off and cleaned it.
The entire process took me approximately one (1) hour.
The sunroof worked perfectly. I fixed myself.
Obviously, the ECU, the Cables, the Tracks, the motor (the units) are ok. Just need a little cleaning.
I brought my 2014 Toyota tundra to the dealership under the assumption the technician at the dealership would be well trained. Apparently, I was wrong.
My appointment was at 12:00pm. I picked up my car at about 6:00pm, closing time. Wasted 6 hours on multiple incorrectly diagnostic.
What value did I get from my diagnostic fees of $189.00 and 6 hours of my time at Performance Toyota dealership.
I have called service management several times and left messages. Still no response.
I am not satisfied with the service and the service management at Performance Toyota of Bountiful.

"DO NOT" trust this company to follow-up on any post closing promises.
We have purchased 2 cars from this dealership from 2 different car salesmen within the past 14 months.
Our first experience was horrible... we scheduled an auto detailing with our sales person Jared since it was getting late when we bought our vehicle. We took the 1st car in for our "scheduled" appointment and they never got to our car. We then took the car 2 additional times but were told there's nobody working that can do it, so we ended up doing it ourselves.
There was also shaking on the tires when we bought the car and "scheduled" a time to bring the car in to have that fixed. However, when we brought the car in on the scheduled date/time, there was nobody working that could work on our tire issue. We tried rescheduling again but the same thing happened.
We thought maybe it was was due to a lying salesman... so we bought another car from another salesman.
On our second experience with the other vehicle we purchased, there was a problem with the door and the new salesman told us it was under warranty and if it wasn't they would fix it. We took the car in and found out it was not under warranty. When we relayed that info to the new salesman, he stopped answering our calls and texts and was dodging us. The salesmen at this company are absolutely horrible so please be careful.

Tyler McCarter is THE BEST. He helped me as my sales guy to get a 2024 customized 4Runner in May 2024. Yesterday, 5 months later, I went back to Toyota Bountiful to meet with him about also getting a truck. Awesome find with an available used 2022 Tundra. And I absolutely love it.
*Also with the process, Toyota also found me the best interest rate company for my auto loan for the purchase.
Totally 5 stars + for Toyota Bountiful for all things, but Tyler is an asset there.

I do not recommend this dealership. They sold me a 2018 Highlander that they claimed a multi point inspection was complete. This did not happen according to a Toyota specialist Mechanic. In addition, they claimed the vehicle had never been in a wreck, however the side stripping began peeling off because they rigged it back together. I know they knew about it because the paperwork says they sent it to the body shop for some work before it went for sale. This is how their mechanics/bodyshop prepare cars for sale apparently. There are also scratches they covered up next to the stripping that started peeling away. These were concealed when we looked at the car but are now extremely visible. Lastly, I am now paying for new motor mounts, again, evidence that the inspection did not occur. I plan to force them to show what they completed-both mechanical and body. It all seems scammy. The good thing is that there’s enough damage to make an attorney worth the cost. The worst thing about this experience is that I was a repeat customer. Now here I am writing my first company review ever! Preparing to buy a new 4-runner for wifey. I hear the other local Toyota dealerships are great!

I have been a loyal customer of this dealership for several years now, but I am extremely disappointed with the recent changes. They used to provide excellent service, including washing my car, all for a reasonable price of $56 for an oil change. However, they have now raised the price to $84 and no longer include a car wash. This is unacceptable and shows a lack of consideration for their customers. I will never be returning to this dealership and would not recommend it to others.

I usually hate dealerships for the back and forth with false hope. Stan and Finance Hunter did a really Great job. Stan is a down to earth gentleman who went out of his way to help me get into this focus ST!! He was straight to the point and helped me through the whole deal, even when they had to do some motor work and make her straight again. Hunter was up front and honest and got us the best deal possible. If your in the market for a new/used car, I’d highly highly talk to Stan. He will hook you up and get you riding out in a car you’re 100% pleased and happy in. Plus there’s no hidden mumbo jumbo. They are true to their word.

Great experience start to finish with Enrique. He was great to work with and made sure our car we purchased was cleaned up well. If you’re in the market go ask for Enrique.
