They didn't give me brake measurements or fluid levels like I asked and they lost my oil cap and replaced it without letting me know hoping I wouldn't notice. The customer service was alright I guess.

I can't really say enough good about this Tunex. They've done great work on my car in the past, but on my latest visit, I was sent there by the dealer due to a potential leak. The staff was patient with me and happy to talk through my concerns. Rob and Brandon were both excellent to talk to. Luckily there wasn't anything wrong (figures).
These guys are busy for a reason. They know what they are doing. They aren't a quick lube shop that will upsell you. Plan to be without your car for a bit longer, but I've gained trust that they will do the job right and answer your questions.

Brandon was amazing to work with. My husband and I were looking to buy a vehicle from incredible auto sales and wanted it checked before making the long drive. While coming down Parleys I detected a problem with my Volvo wagon, Stopped off at Tunex in Bountiful on the way home, A professional came out to look at the car, and we discussed some possibilities…they had the car for a day and EVERYTHING WAS NOW PERFECT!!! They explained the trouble and verified the cost to repair, since I grew up in an auto/diesel mechanic family I understood the repairs…..Great Staff, honest diagnoses and fair repair….what a surprise it was less than HALF of the DEALERS PRICE. I've been coming here for 14 years. I've had them work on several different vehicles doing a variety of work including but not limited to 360 inspections, emission checks, AC leaks, intermittent power issues, and even a full engine rebuild. I've found this business to be exemplary in customer service: they explain the problem simply and clearly, answer any questions I may have without making me feel like the car novice I am, provide several options for solving the problem, don't hustle me into making a decision, and provide timely updates throughout the service process. I've been consistentlyn satisfied with the quality of work provided. Both Rob and Brandon are very knowledgeable and have been great to work with. I would recommend anyone in the valley to bring their vehicle here for service.

I’ve used Brandon and his shop now a few times and have had a great experience. I went in because I thought something was wrong with my brakes, but they told me what was going on and we’re honest and cares and didn’t just tell me that I needed to get new brake pads like so many other places had, gotten my car as soon as I needed to and work quick with the turnaround process. Highly recommend anyone who needs some work done with their car. I would most definitely trust them.

Good customer service, worked the best they could under the circumstances. However I told them to fix my car, they got the car in working condition, they did not fix the ac hose. I should have made sure they were going to fix the ac, but they should have also asked if I wanted it done while the car was torn apart.
They left plastic flapping around on the bottom, they didn’t do anything to secure it or even take it off. They left fluid dripping off the car. The fog light looked secure at the shop, when I got home it was barely hanging on, they didn’t care to do anything to secure it. These are problems I’ve found on day one.

I’ve been going to Tunex for a few years now and I will never go to another repair shop. They’ve been the most honest, reliable, quick, and professional place I’ve been to yet and I can always trust them to do an amazing job. Every time I’ve needed service done they’ve been super communicative and informative. They’ve shown genuine care for whatever my situation may be and after my most recent visit my car feels brand new and I couldn’t be happier. Tunex is the best there is and I highly recommend them.
